I know what style I need to get, but my main question is, what color headlight should I get. My headlights are probably 12 years old (maybe not, I dunno) and they're quite dim. I'm tempted to get an HID kit but I'm not sure if they'll just slide right into my car's headlight fixtures. Car: 1998 Honda CR-V Opinions? Oh...and what brand should I get?

Makes me want to dig into my other account and build a clam shell in my Honda with like 20 of these. Haha.

I drive a 98 Honda CR-V (just thought I'd fill you guys in on what I'm in). I've gotta admit, out of all of the older cars that I have driven, my CR-V has the shittiest lighting out of all of them. Old ass yellow halogens that only let me see 50+ feet in front of me. I'm looking to get HID's but I'm not sure what color to get. I want improved visibility and lighting. The "cool" factor in my mind isn't really that big of a deal. I want as much light as I can get. If there's a hint of blue, cool. I don't want 100& blue or any other color for that matter. I'm looking for the brightest light I can get. EDIT: Is it color, or temperature? I know they're measured in Kelvin (correct?), so is it temp or color or both?

Fully loaded BTL's are 400+ if not nearly 500 bucks. Never got a straight answer on a AA mayhem, so I can tell you one thing is for sure, these subs sure as hell ain't gonna be cheap. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they're in the 600+ range, if not higher. As for an amp, these bitches can take more than 4k a pop (so I have heard/seen on the prototype pic I saw awhile back that's been on here forever).

Lately, my transmission (ahem...trans-axle), has been rattling at higher revs in 2nd and 3rd gear. If you've ever taken a stick and dragged it across the face of a chain link fence, that's what it sounds like. Has that distinct ping to it. I can't tell if it's bad gas (don't laugh), something's loose, and issue with the trans-axle, or something major is about to happen. I'm planning on getting it checked out when I take it to get it's oil changed and maintenance done sometime next month. Any ideas as to what may be causing this strange noise?

And then 700+ for the shit I'm planning on getting (see the top line under The Future in my sig).

What about ones that pick up bass well? And if I have to dump some cash into it, I'll get my parents to grab me one for a present. It's the time of the year, isn't it? Or am I a few months fast? Haha.
