Ok so, I guess I'm just hype because I just completed my first enclosure in which I had help from absolutely no one lol. Well, except for putting it in the car and all the formulas I researched. But anyways, I'm just curious of how well everyone else's first boxes turned out. Pics r better but, I'll even accept stories.. Why not? In addition, I wouldn't have been able to get the 4x8 in my car so i just got lowe's to cut the wood for me...never again lol.. None of the numbers were what they were supposed to be and i had to cut the bigger pieces to fit the smaller pieces which in turn, made the box smaller than I had intended. Eh, whatever.. Still sounds good! and the second mess

if anything in the back, just the rear doors and actually remove the speakers that are already in the rear deck for some airflow..

That things looks really complicated, the high pass and low pass can't fix this? if its alternator whine, it's basically gonna b there regardless of the settings until the issue is fixed.. another thing to check is (i know u said u neatened ur wires but still) that ur rca's and ur power cable r touching as little as possible by the amps. my simple fix in the last car.. i pushed it over a little and bam!! no noise

I'm looking for, maybe an alpine, pioneer, etc... something with a name behind it but with an aux port in the front and that plays cds. i'm only willing to spend somewhere around $35-$40(even close to this price can b good...lemme kno ur price). Times r hard but i need music! lol.. someone in Philly or relatively close so i can pick it up today please.. help me out! I'm goin crazy without it! thanks

As in my title, I need suggestions of a good brand battery. I heard of kinetik and different ones like it but they seem a little pricey... If you can, could you tell me of a cheaper (dry cell is the way to go right?) battery, that isnt really cheap in a sense quality? And if possible, some recommended site to get them? Thanks forgot to mention that I want to replace my old battery, im running about 1100 watts, and still have my stock (possibly 90 amp) alternator

It is a cheap eq. Bought it like 3 years ago just to c how they help... Its done me good but I was actually just looking for a new one...don't really know what kind to get. Oh and changing the frequency actually gave me a better sound... It was dark and im at work now so I didnt watch the speakers for movement... It does sound better though. Thanks

each pair of speakers has its own set of rca plugs

So im driving to work when I just so happen to see my front speaker doing some crazy excursion that ive never seen it do,before. So I turned down the sub on my eq to hear how it sounded and the excursion wasnt the same. When I turned the sub up, it went crazy again. Is this harmful? have you heard of this before? Is there something I should do? They still sound clear with the subs up.
