  1. I can't believe I remembered my old logins! I haven't done audio in YEARS! But I just grabbed me my first (fixer upper) SUV and was like, "Back in the day, I always said I'd do something crazy if I got me an SUV." This is the only audio forum I've ever been a part of so... Here I am, checking you guys out lol. Coincidentally, I asked this same question as I was typing the website in 😂. To answer your question though, I got away from audio and started building me some "fast" stuff. I got this SUV with a blown head gasket for the winter just to have a 4wd beater so I didn't have to drive my fun cars in the crappy weather. Once I did the gasket, that itch came back like crazy, VERY QUICKLY lol. So Im now actively installing some old stuff that I had in plastic from the last car I did audio in, God knows how long ago, just hoping it'll hold me over and not make me wanna spend some money 😂 But, Hi all! Good to see y'all AND the site are still kicking!
  2. Haha okay then. I guess "It's the thought that counts" could work here. I guess I'm done here unless someone knows someone that's selling something within my "needs."
  3. Yea. I'm post buying a house so I'm SORTA budgeting I guess. I'm selling the old to get the "new to me with more power." Only for slight upgrades in my car just to keep me sane. Any one have any other references close to those specs? (125 per chan @ 4 ohm)
  4. Not necessarily for the brand new amp. I posted here kinda looking for a lower price due to it being 'used' is all.
  5. Lucky you! I'm like, my only friend in car audio lol.. If you get yours before I get something, could you let me know what you think?
  6. Yea.. Glad I'm not alone lol. As for the MB Quart, I was looking at the 4.125 but honestly, I'm looking for a quality 4 channel amp with at least 125 rms for each channel @ 4 ohms. 175 per channel may be the highest I'll go.
  7. Ouch! Steep! May have to just check strictly for the MB Quart! lol.. I didn't see the price on their site (of course) so i didn't know what to expect. Ima try to change the title. Oh! Thanks guys..
  8. I'm in the market for a new amp. I have this one in mind as well as an MB Quart. Throw some prices my way!
  9. Lol.. Poor guy.. I wouldn't do THAT (or anything he did wrong for that matter & even though it probably isn't 2k), but they're still some pretty good subs. Unanimously decided, get the Type R.
  10. I love my Type Rs. 2 on a RF 600.1 but they make everything flex and my nose itch. Can't say much about only 1, or even the RE, but I can tell you that they've been more than reliable. I'd go Type R just because it's something I know.
  11. Nice.. I like songs like this.. Kinda zoned out listening to it.
  12. I currently have a 2000 Nissan Maxima SE that I sometimes, "open up" on the highway. Everything's fine and dandy but, I feel like I could go for a stiffer suspension when coming around corners. My only issue is that I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for coilovers or struts and springs. Basically I'm wondering if you guys have any recommendations as far as INEXPENSIVE assemblies come. Good but, inexpensive. I know this is one of those things you shouldn't go cheap on but I'm just looking for a good deal with good results. I don't want to be too low but I can deal with an inch or so in the front with as minimal drop as possible in the back. It's low enough as is with all the weight back there. I honestly want to stay under $500 for the parts if possible. Thanks
  13. Anyone order from here?? Good reviews? $15 is only $15 but I'd much rather have $15 worth of stuff than $15 worth of disappointment. just saying.
  14. lol.. I'm curious how it sounded that's nice.. what did you use to get that color?? Yeah like they said it's just textured paint I got from advanced autoparts nothing special. I gotta look into the sem stuff though for my pillars oh ok.. i was even researching on here and someone (my bad for not remembering who) said they used Rust-oleum American accent stone.. Shoot, as of right now, it's wherever the low price is! lol.. you should do something outrageous like a... Metallic Lime Green lol!
  15. sem makes a whole lineup of texture based paints or you can use flekstone. Thanks. Ima check those out. And BeAlLsTaR13, it looks good man.. Reminds me that I gotta change my terminals or something so I can put my XS battery under the hood. Those little screws are anti-universal lol.
  16. I was thinking to add some color to mine but i didn't know exactly what to use. I don't want an outrageous color but, just not "mdf brown" lol. Maybe a dark gray since that's like, my interiors theme. Plus it'll look good with the carpet in the trunk. Any ideas?
  17. that's nice.. what did you use to get that color??
  18. thanks a lot.. I was wondering why I only had links.. It's like magic!
  19. well damn! makes my first look something to put your feet on! lol
  20. lol thanks.. yea i realized after i first did it... the links still don't work?
