it was on american st. and i think lehigh?? (spell check) but they had shut down like 6-7 blocks for the car show/spl show/live music and what not..

i jus did a quick check on google for 97 camery... it looks like your stock alt pushes about 70-90 amps.... what kind of batteries do you currently have? an alt is a big investment... also installation can cause some problems... i have seen one guy pushing 5000w total power and 3 batteries on a stock alt... so its really up to you...you get an alt or upgrade batteries...
i didnt wanna kill my alt by adding batteries...it just seemed like n e thing that i did when my music was on would mess wit the music...for instance, when i put up my windows, my music lowers until i let go of the button...does that sound like it could b sumthin else to u???

I had an Alpine and I could not figure out how to set treble, bass, mids, etc. Got tired of using "user 2". I now have a Pioneer and it has many many more options in customizing the sound imaging. I'm much happier with the Pioneer so I can say it DOES matter.

what equipment are you running??? what car u driveing? how much power do you need? ill recommend DC power.... it may be pricy but you'll get ur moneys worth... Rob is a real good guy but he might be busy...
i have a 97 camry wit 2 '1200' watt amps...im gonna bump up to a 2000+(most likely plus cuz i dont want my bass to override my voice) watt kole audio and another amp around 3000 to run 2 type r's...my stuff needs more power with the little power im pullin now so ima definitely need to jump...maybe sumwhere around a 200 amp alt.

LOL thanks...i just remembered that i had a dis. block for 2 yrs and never used it...TIME TO PUT IT TO WORK! lol and how do u guys feel about capacitors?? i have 1 bcuz my lights n shit dim when the bass hits and was told that would help...do yall think it would b a good idea to run the 0 gauge to the cap. then 4's to the amps??

can you tell us what these so called amps are? 2400rms off of a long run of 4 gauge = heat = meltdown
i use 4 gauge on my mids and highs amp
NOT RMS...THEYRE BOTH 1200 max...doubt if my bass amp is n e where near that max with rms(sony xplod)...oh and do u have seperate wires running for each amP???
