  1. well this weekend was the time to start getting the new system together. i had 2 12in ssds before on a power acoustik a2400db then i got a 15in btl and swapped in there with the same amp and just decided to bump for a while with the btl and that amp. this weekend i got the 0 gauge in and ran the new amp plus the new box that thedukey42 on roe built me which made it sound so much sweeter.

    anyway here are some pics

  2. just get a router. a rotozip is worthless on mdf unless you just drilling holes and i'm pretty sure you already got a drill. it's only good on drywall. if the cost of a router is not in your budget, i would rather get a crappy jigsaw instead.

youre not suppose to drill holes with it, thats why you have a drill, you cant drill a hole with those things and theyre not meant to be doing that.

  3. Ok because it sparked at first and now it wont spark so i was like UH OH but I'm gonna take it to work tomorrow and hook it up to a friends system and see if he can turn it on with his then i know its ok and its my car not the amp (cross's fingers - doesn't wanna spend more money)

does your amp cost more than the car lol?

  4. i have a rotozip with the circle cutting attachment and it gets the job done but id much prefer a router. you have to keep pausing while youre cutting a circle in mdf otherwise if you dont, the bit gets too hot and just snaps off. you need to take breaks and let the bit cool off before you can finish so it takes like 10 minutes to cut like a 15in circle.

  5. i do love LS1's lol

but i dont know if that big ass motor would fit in that Saturn

f that just keep it simple

so does anyone have experience working with compact, 4 door cars, im tryin to expand my profile by workin with other genres of vehicles, i kno about sport coupes lol,

so i guess what im asking is what should i expect as far as prices im lookin at for modification, and installation ease,

im brand new diving into this, all i kno is that is a 4 lug wheel, FWD, 4 bangin 5spd tranny... lol

aim for speed and mpg dont dump a v8 in it and get 8mpg

  6. lol well my other car is a mustang, so i just want to make a tuner car, maybe i could do it right.... motor swap, twin turbo, fiberglassed body kit, no wing, leather interior?, RF everything.... how does that sound yall?

no body kit just do some tasteful lips, lower it put on some nice lightweight wheels and a nice oval shaped muffler that isnt too loud. make it look oem but have some power.
