    <br>it's called tinning correct? i was thinking about putting the wires in leave that pocket that the set screw leaves and solder it up for a nice clean fit. i'm going with this method i'll post up pics when i get some taken thanks fellas<br>
    <br><br>Tinning is when you apply solder directly to the solder iron tip to keep it clean, avoid oxidation on the tip, and to ensure heat transfer right before you're about to solder something...hope it makes sense, otherwise look it up....<br><br><br>VVVVVV more specific<br>

    For real man, I mean itz kool when pple juss state their honest opinions, not every1 likes da same things... bt when they take it 2 far like in meade's case talkin bout takin his wife/mother of his kids home for the night like if she was some sort of hooker, now that's just straight DISRESPECTIN!

    I know what you mean man......its like they can obviously tell that hes got money so they automatically assume that he will never know the difference, or that he can pull a door panel off for christ sake. Pissed me off....never buyin another thing from them......espeically since they said a jl 1000/1 will shit on my amp

    true, most shops thinks that because you have money, you don't know what you're talking about & try & rip you off big time...!

    "What would be louder" Threads arent really kosher here.

    But to give you unbiased, and factual input, I will tell you this.

    No one knows. No one can know without actually testing the 2 options in your car with your chosen equipment.

    I can tell you that mathematically, the 15" on 5000w has more POTENTIAL to be loud.

    But factors such as box design, woofer design, cabin space, and the woofer's ability to use that amount of power (not just absorb it) all comes into play.

    And what is the goal? Just SPL, or Music too? Because you arent gonna play daily music on 5000w per sub, not for long anyway.

    I know exactly what you mean, but I haven't had many high-powered systems or much money to spend to test both options out and was pretty much asking if more power would be louder than more cone area for system planning...
