*Update* I replaced the dist. internals & got it running again, but i still have rough acceleration & very little power...I also hear a small "clicking" sound coming from cylinder #6 area. any ideas of what it could be?
-
Fuses/relays are fine...I took the distributor apart to check the ignition coil & found what looked like ferrite crumbs in there though?
-
Yea, I don't trust junkyard parts very much, but right now I have practically no money & junkyard parts with warranty would be my best bet right now...
-
Yea, I get no spark at all...damn, I was afraid of that, ignition coils for these cars are expensive as hell! Guess I'm gonna have to try one from the junkyard and see what happens..
-
so this weekend i changed the valve cover gaskets on my 94 mazda 626 & afterward it had poor acceleration & i heard a clicking noise by the distributor..
(probally really stupid to do), but i pulled a wire off the distributor while the car was running & it shocked me , turned off, & wouldn't start back up...is there any specific thing that could have been burned out by that?

I just did this to my stock steelies yours turned out really nice
Thanks man , just the other day i changed the red stripe to silver, goes much better with the car now, I'll post up pics soon..
yeah those look pretty badass. now you just need some lugs like audioaddict02's avatar pic hahah
yeah i just painted my rims using a tutorial here Click here
...Something for you to drool on.lol...I've seen lots of tutorials, but since I am an auto painter myself, i really didn't need 'em.haha

The wheels look 10 times better than stock. Good job! I like the black and red but I agree with you on the silver stripe would match your car better.

you guys should look into wetsanding and clearing them, then using some NICE polish on em, would look 2x as good.
Oh hells yea, I do A LOT of wetsand & buffing, every car I paint gets sanded & buffed, but since i only wanted to improve the look of the stock wheels, I just painted them & thats it, they didn't come out with a lot of orange peel anyway...

I did the same thing with some rockford 152-s tweeters. Nice job man. Those tweeter pods are real clean.
Thanks man..that's cool, I wish I could afford some good gear, sadly, I was stuck with these $20 performance teknique tweets...

Look good..
Thanks man...n yet another modification! My mom checkin it out when I brought it home.haha

Rockin' that all around limo tint!

Looks good, definitely would 'band those tires. Thinking about doing the same thing to mine. Did you sand the old pain off or just paint over them?
Thanks, i sanded the old paint and painted over it, I didn't want to take all the old paint off since they're aluminum wheels..

The Pack - Shinin and Luniz - I got Five On it (Bass Version)
These songs hit so hard in my truck that the bass lines are perfect for my system and wanted to know what hz/hertz they are?
Also what other songs have a bass lines similar to these songs? Thanks.
Shinin-46hz

I got tired of my stock wheels looking so boring & I don't plan on changing to aftermarket wheels anytime soon, so I had to work with what I got!haha.
Next thing would be thinner tires and 1.5" drop
-
what paint u use?
Urethane basecoat/clearcoat.
-
Very clean, how did you attach the tweeter to the pod though? Some sort of glue/adhesive tape?
Thanks man, these tweeters come with 2-piece frames that just snap on and hold the tweeter inside and since i used the actual tweeter frame the top ring is actually now part of the fiberglassed piece, so the bottom half just snaps onto the top half and holds everything in place since the angle mount is screwed onto the panel itself....hope i didn't confused you..
-
Thank you all...damn, my post seems boring as hell to me!lol.... my favorite part of it all, is that since I used the original tweeter frames, I can still swivel em if I want..!

Haven't posted anything in a while, and I made these not to long ago, so I thought I'd share:

man, those trucks are a p.i.t.a. to work with when it comes to subs....honestly, i think you'd be better off doing 1 10 ported behind the seat...unless you want 2 do 1 12 sealed..
Its an Fi BL, they dont recommend sealing them. With a 12 ported he would need around 2 cubic feet. Is there not that much room back there?
after displacements, nowhere near enough room for 1 12 ported.....I have a friend with this exact type truck(in my sig, silverado) & he wants to do 1 12 L7 ported, but after calculations the box would be around 1.3ft^, so I recommended he do a ported audioque hdc310..

NEED A REAL COOL UNIQUE BOX DESIGN
in Subwoofers / Enclosures

dayunm... complicated haha, could you explain the difference this design makes with the sound?
I built that box to port through the rear deck for a 95 impala for two 10w6s & it sounds good, but a labyrinth slot ported box i built a while back seemed to give out more low end bass with the same tuning.
