In my opinion if you have to ask, you're not ready. The game idea....retarded in my opinion. Not something id ever ink on my body.
As far as something meaningful...bro...this is the internet. How are we going to tell you what is meaningful? I don't know you, your life, your journey, your ideals...how could I possibly tell you what would be a meaningful idea.
I think you're looking at tattoos as a fashion statement, something to look cool. But in my opinion the reason for a tattoo can make someone look like a tool. So think about it some more. And when you have decided on something come back and share. Or just get what you want since it is your body
You misunderstood my question. I asked for types of things that could be meaningful. Quotes are the obvious one.
I'll probably just get the T-Bell Logo for now. I don't really care if people dislike it. I love tacos, I love t-bell. It's funny to me.
As for the video game thing. For someone who's life has been all about video games basically it's no where near retarded for me.
-
SO I want to get two tattos. One will probably be video game related which is easy to figure out , but I want the other to be meaningful and that's where I'm stuck. Any ideas on types of things I could get that would have meaning besides quotes? If I don't think of anything I guess maybe I don't have anything meaningful in life yet and I'll just get more video game tats.

You're taking the back seats off ?
These car have small trunks, they can only fit 2 12"s ported, and this would be a very tight fit!!!
But they do get loud (vw gti's) FTW !
No. They A3 is 19.5 cubes with the seats up and the GTI is 15.something. Suggested ported for a Level 3=1.5cubes so times four = 6 cubes. How does that not fit? If should at least fit in the A3. It's a big trunk.

Uhm, it does matter because you may not get full power. Also, some people dont wanna dish out the money on electrical to have their amp at .25 ohms
Dual 4 Ohm. Thanks for the answers. I'll probably go with a SAZ-2500D. I didn't think I could even do 4 subs on one amp. I though I would need two. I'm not gonna do this set up on my own. I'm not gonna be that stupid. I'll have someone help me.
Edit:Or if I feel like dishing out the money would a RF 2500bd work too?
-
Based on your very short list, I would say go by cone area and price so the 4 - 12". How much volume you have to play with? Sealed or ported?
Ported, Audi A3, 19.5 cubes, 140 amp alt. Amp I don't know that's actually my latest thread in the DC audio section.
I don't plan on upgrading the alt(voiding the warranty=lame) so batteries it is.
Um any other info needed?
Edit: Might be a GTI instead of an A3 which would be 15.1 cubes instead. Both are plenty.

I'm just wondering what amp(s) I should get for 4 level 3 12's. I'm still learning here so recommendations would be great.
-
Amp I don't know. That'd be the next thing I need to figure out. I'm new to getting smart on car audio.
If 4 12's is best I'm thinking 4 Level 3's.
-
Which option is best and why?
1 18-2000 watts
2 15's- 1000 watts x 2
4 12's 500 watts x 4
I'm gonna max out at 2kwrms and I'm trying to figure out what option is best. I have a feeling it's the 2 15's. This would be for a daily drive so a mix of SPL and SQ.

Damn I want an Audi. Congrats

Love dubstep.

It cant affect it directly, backup sensors send and receive ultrasonic radio waves, much like radar. The sensors cant detect anything your speakers can produce.
So dont worry, nothing will happen
Thanks good to know. Once I have my car I'm gonna have a bunch of questions. I hope any threads I make won't be annoying. lol
-
I think this is the right section for this. I just wondered if the vibration would mess with it. I know you could just turn your subs down but I mean like possible something more permanent causing it to beep all the time or something.
-
Oops. Didn't mean to get everyone on the idea of brand new. It will most likely be barely used. (30k miles and down) To me that's barely used considering my car came with 110k and I still get a warranty and stuff. Anyway after seeing that Black Edge I know what I want. I don't think I can afford a Flex they don't depreciate like the Edge does.
Oh and just in case I might not be able to get an Edge(so no suv at all). Which of those cars would you pick or would they all be the same pretty much?
-
Anything that's a hatch back
The louder ones are explorers tahoe crx golfs
Hmm that hatchback thing has me considering all kinds of cars. I wish I was pickier. Oh well gonna be one fun test drive day.
-
TBH I think you're an idiot to buy a new car.... much less plan to throw a system in it, that means totally taking lots of shit out then putting it back together, it's just a bad idea in my opinion that is.
Well I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am right now and it's a POS. I want a nice newer car for my next car not something older. And too Kranny I am leaning towards a Flex. I think some pretty epic stuff could be done with one.Oh and I'm not gonna do the build myself anyway. lol I'm too dumb for that.
-
I'm going to be getting one of these and one of the deciding thing is best for subs. Which would you pick? I'll be spending 5000+ on the system.
All 2010:
Ford Fusion
Ford Flex
Ford Edge
Toyota Camry
Mazda 6
I'm fine with any of them this is basically one of the last factors.

Thanks. I'll post up pics once I have it. Hopefully it doesn't turn out awful. It's my first build so I'm gonna be extremely anal on it probably and it will take me longer than most people to build. lol
Update for thoughts on this.
Case- changed to HAF X
Graphics cards- changed two dual 460 1gb EVGA Superclocked
HDD1- changed to 7200rpm 6.0gb/s 1TB drive
Ram-changed to 6gb
PSU-changed to 1000 watts
That cuts off $1000 and I think is much better for future proofing.

Plus every six months or so there is something new out that will drop the price of the stuff your looking at now and you'll want that. Waiting would be smart but it looks like a good build and would last you quite a while. Goodluck to you!

Looks like a great build! Intel and Nvidia all the way! Don't let others try to sway you to other companies like AMD and ATI it's just cheap junk.
Post pictures when you finish building the beast.
Edit: only thing I noticed is you have two really beast video cards and a CPU that might bottleneck it a little. The better the CPU the better with big SLI builds.
CPU would be over clocked to 4.0 Also I've been hearing the 950 is supposed to get a price cut. I'm honestly thing I might as well wait until between Black Friday and Christmas to buy this. Since all the sales will show up then. I'd probably end up with extreme regret if I don't wait.

thats a nice build. about the sli question with the amp cards. yes they will fit you will just have to have the first card in the first slot and the second card in the 3rd slot. having the card in the 3rd slot with not make any difference from the second slot if thats what ur worried about
I just worried about them being cramped for air flow, but it not making a difference is really reassuring too I didn't think about that.

So I'm going to be building my first PC and this is what I've come up with.

HDD1:Kingston SSDNow V Series SNV425-S2BD/128GB
HDD2: Western Digital VelociRaptor WD6000HLHX 600GB 10000 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
MEMORY:Kingston HyperX T1 Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) XMP Tall HS Desktop Memory Model KHX1600C9D3T1K3/6GX (2 of them + Kingston HyperX Fan)
Power Supply:SILVERSTONE ST1500 1500W ATX 12V 2.3 & EPS 12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS SILVER Certified Active PFC Power Supply
Total:About $3400
I think I did a pretty good job.
Thoughts/Opinions/Advice? Will two Zotac Amps fit on a Rampage III Extreme?
I didn't buy this yet btw.

hey i got an idea... we can have everyone just chill at my place for the week, free food, cool audioz, make it bombin...
be a great time
its a plan... cracker i know you love beer so ill start stocking up
Haha I do live in Wisconsin. Turn 21 soon too. So i'll like beer even more. lol And yeah I wouldn't wanna do a winter build. I'd wait until spring unless a winter build is possible. I imagine it sucking badly.
-
i just had to lol cuz ya said western MN lol kinda far from WI lol. but im up in Hibbing if ya around this way ever mang and know a few closer to the cites
Oh wow haha. I meant Eastern. That's a long ass drive but honestly when spending 5000 for a system I could put up with that drive but it'd have to be done in a decent amount of time. Driving 8 hours multiple times would suck.
Looking for some help on ideas/suggestions

I don't see how I did that but ok. I'm a creative retard so things don't pop into my head like they do for most people.
