  1. Dude........

If you know how to construct a "Good Box" for all that, and the wiring, and all assorted stuff that goes along with a build on that scale, you should know your price, its a lot more than he would want to pay

    1. Equiptment

    2. Having his van for a month.... just a guess

    3. Your time off from work

    4. Other parts you need to go buy

    5. Lots of wood.... and more wood after that.

so think of a price and multiply it x 4.... give him that.

    Dont forget to post pics

  2. I just took my new level 4xl out of my first box to put into my new one and saw that the one sides leads are all effed up! What happened? Was it getting too hot? I don't know how reliable it is to use it in competition next weekend... :( Help! Both leads from that side are effed, the other side is fine...

SQUIRREL....... You need to put a screen in front of your port so they cant get in, ut crank it up if you see one go inside your box.

  3. Really Id look at your budget... 4 12's vs 1 18.... You know your money not us.

Your building skills.... the Box and wiring is a consideration you need to look at.

Against everyone else.... Id go with the 18", then at least you can say you had one in a system unlike a LOT of people here, and if you dont like it you can upgrade to an SMD 18 or other brand later.

A single 18 in that TC will pound.

Good luck and let us know

  4. well, not feeling the greatest this morning--but I uploaded a few more pics of the work done this weekend....

Soundstream amp under drivers seat putting the power to the components...sounds damn clean & loud!

Do I see window cranks..... :orly3:

Im hopin you redo the doors and add power windows. But hell it took Steve 4 yrs to add power to his

guess I'll see how the day goes, and how I feel will determine how much gets done today!

  5. I had a '93 like 10yrs ago

    I had 3 JL 12's DVC W3's in it....

    Subs facing back

    Port through the rear deck

Components on the far side of the rear deck pointed towards the mirror

3/4 mdf cut to fit behind the rear seat, 3/4 mdf to match up in the trunk and bolted together..... great stuff to fill the gaps

the box was built into the trunk so the numbers are not perfect, but it slammed.

I'll make a build log on the new one... "NEW 93 Corsica"
