hopefully it will get to a above a 47.5, we have our local finals in a month and im trying to beat out a guy that one of my comp buddies built a box for. but the next guy up is running a crx doing 50s already.. so hopefully i can get him second place,
im also kind of debatin on convincing him to go with the sax1200.
i keep seeing that the 1000 only had 3 25amp fuses. and that confused me a little
SAZ1000D's have 3x30A of onboard fusing - the website is off on that....I have had quite a few come through my hands
get the SAE1200D v2 - that has 5x30A - lots of power on the cheap

i must not know what im doing..lol.. i did a 145.3 with mine on a 1200d... but i must say... that im tuned a bit lower and its in a trunk car...
but your number is sealed on the dash if I remember correctly? which is damn good for a daily setup out of the trunk

thanks, i like this one for only 380 watts, his mirror has already fallen off once now. im gonna see if i can talk him into a better battery up front for when he gets the sundown 1k in
i might decide too hook them up to 3k for fun one day, haha
i'd say go for an SAE1200D in there - they make some nice power.... I actually ran one for quite a while in my setup until i got my alt in
are the subs d2 or d4? it could hit a 149.xx in the kick with the 3k wired to 0.5

one hell of a busy weekend, just got back...Team Sundown Russia did great there - took first in 3 of the 4 SPL classes ( we didn't have anyone in the 4th)... i'll post vids and pics when they are available

a bit of an update - this system metered at 145.8 sealed on the TL @ 42hz at a comp on saturday ...which I think is great for a low tuned musical box and low power

two SA10's did 148.7 sealed on the TL (did a 149.6 when we were doing an equipment check, but couldn't back it up) from a trunk area of a focus 5door hatch at our comp this weekend

we had a comp this weekend in Saint-Petersburg ....the guys won their class showing a 151.2 sealed on the TL (db drag style) after demoing all day for the crowd on just 4 75Ah Optima Blue tops and a stock 90A alt....hairtriks and whatnot were had and vids shall be posted later

Yeah, wired parallel two 4ohm subs give you a 2ohm load....since most monomps nowadays have dual outputs it's pretty straight forward

im going over to canada on vacation and i wanted to find a good amp that can do around 800rms at 2ohms.

This isn't my system, but he's part of the team and gets his gear from me, so enjoy the action
a forward firing set-up sealed off from the trunk and ported through the rear deck... two Sundown Audio SA12's on a SAZ3500D @ 0.5ohms ...he has done 149.9 in a comp with a higher tuned port

I'm pretty certain you can get one in Germany ....they should be pretty cheap...unless the EU outlawed them for scary crashtest results
or you could always import a container of these to the US...the standard 40 footer should take 6 of these

They haven't metered this box yet....but, i'm pretty certain that it breaks 150 in the low 40s - they had a different box for the 6 10's which did 146 @ 30hz and over 150 at 41 or something
