Thanks for the comments guys, I am uploading another batch of pics right now. Got most of the car put back together and the doors are done, so I will try and get to the other areas being worked on.

The new wires from KnuKonceptz 1/0 and 8ga speaker wire

Cleaned up a bit
it fits again
Sanding is difficult
New 6x9's have larger magnets.
More work on those later, I will post some big3 pics tomorrow.

Enough of the fiberglass

And now the fun part?
Soaked the MDF with Resin
They dried
We borrowed a blanket
Glued the fabric into the grooves so it does not lift up when resin is added

Welcome to my second build log, a small project on my friends 1990 Nissan Maxiam 4 Door Sports Car!
There was a light system previously installed by various shops already in this car and is being redone.

The first collection of pics is my 1st attempt at fiberglass, making new front door speaker panels for 6x9's.

The magents will be sit back into the panels. We got some help from my old man routing the edges off to match the stock panels shape.
Braces for rings and edge cut with router.

The new build is chugging along, fast imo but I'm waiting everyday for new vids, I bet it seems alot longer working with allllll that wire. I cant wait to see more videos of the work. Great stuff man!
