True, Dom abandon this forum and most of all ME.

i backed him like no other over the last 8 years on every forum including this one. His products always did me good and when he was on his "game" he was GREAT. Some of the things that pissed people off were THEIR OWN DAMN FAULT and some of it might have been doms shitty communication with customers.

Either way i had his back thick and thin......and in return i got left hanging.

Why did it take so long? I had faith in him. When i talk to him, he is so legit, its not even funny.....he is one of the smartest and friendliest guys i know. Everytime he made mistakes he always eventually made up for them. I am loyal and didnt want this to happen.

I am bummed out by it.

yea it sucks, man. i have been in your shoes on this sort of thing too. i decided that i will never again be in business with either close friends or family. that sounds cold but it makes it so that when hard business decisions have to be made you don't bring feelings into it.

i need to recone my audioque hd3 12 (not hdc3). my current setup is a 2.2 cubic foot slot ported box tuned to 38 hz and a amplifier that makes 1500 watts rms at 2 ohms and a dual 4 ohm copper hd3.

option 1. stock AQ recone, dual 4 ohm copper voice coil with 8 soft spiders.

option 2. fix my speaker.com team PSI recone. they recommend a dual 1 ohm flatwound aluminum voice coil with 3 stiff spiders.

option 3. AQ aluminum coil recone, dual 1 ohm AQ aluminum coil with 8 spiders. they can add extra spiders if requested.

which is better for my setup? the only reason i need a recone is my subsonic filter got turned off by accident and i bottomed out my sub hard enough to tweak the cone.

I am not one for conspiracy theories but the government owns a massive portion of GM as we all know. I believe they are forcing Toyota's hand on all these recalls and making it into a massive story for the media. Look at all the new commercials for Chevy vehicles they compare fuel economy with almost all the Toyota classes, SUV, mid-size, etc. It looks like negative ad campaigning for an election, just attack your opponent. I know Toyota needs to get their shit straight and it is a major problem but I own a few Toyota's and have never experienced problems, and I have a 2008 also so I'm not just talking about the older generations.

/end rant, just my 2 cents not that GM is lying about their MPG figures etc.

Not true, I have a hobby lobby by me and they do not carry it except on their site.

And the CA glue available to you at hobby stores is not the same, its a thinner usually clear color CA Glue which sucks for woofers since you need a thicker more gel type.

i meant a real hobby shop, not hobby lobby. real hobby shops have about 10 or 15 types of CA for different things. ( i mess around with rc cars too )

CA glue and activator are available in any hobby shop.

i fought a ground loop on my dodge avenger for about a week. i finally figured out it was the antenna . the mast grounded on the rear fender and the cable was like 13 feet long. i ran a wire from the bottom of the antenna to my amp ground and that fixed 90% of it. i then grounded my headunit to the same spot and it was finally quiet.
