  1. Very nice and very clean setup... Any particular reason u went w/ all RF gear??
Looks like someone hit up the Rockford accommodation. had 360.2s for $100 last year. IDK what they are doing this year if anything....
shit looks like it slams...best buy sells it and i bet he gets a serious discount...

yes. this. same stuff this year except there isn't a 360.2 on it. glad i got mine when i did!

HamSammich answered this for me. i get accomodation at work. accomodation > discount ...discount isnt that much on this stuff. RF ain't cheap!

  2. no videos yet.

hey bro, where @ in WPB? Im from Wellington, but now im here in the ATL area FTL! WPB is so pretty, wish I was still there. Damn property taxes made me flee. Im not paying no $10,000 annually for county taxes, for my 3/8th acre land LOL!

    Very nice install however!

well i work at best buy in wpb of palm beach lakes blvd. we are 1 of the very few Best Buy's that do custom work. i live in jupiter though. i know wellington too. my previous full timer works at the new best buy out there. wpb ain't pretty right now. construction every where you go!

  3. Alrighty folks so here it is finally...the new set-up for my system. still consisting of the same amps:

    Rockford P1000-1bd

    Rockford P400-4

    Rockford 3Sixty.2 Processor

    (2) Rockford P3D412 Subs

here's the teasers with my 2 sets of Alpine Type R 6 1/2" components getting installed

    http://www.v6performance.net/forums/showthread.php?t=195770

The type Rs are so much cleaner than the Infinity Kappa Perfects! I bought 6x9 adapter plates off crutchfield to get the 6.5" fit with no problems in the rear.

here is the old setup (standard ported box with black suede & black vinyl trimmed and floor trimmed out)

torsion bars still intact and factory navigation in OEM location

    amps still the same

so for trunk support my coworker just got another piece of 3/4" MDF and wrapped it in black vinyl and recessed a piece of mirror plexi to give it a nice look instead of just a piece of wood lol. yea i couldve spent the money and did some type of linear actuator or motorization but i didnt want to spend any more money and i am happy with the way it is. i don't use my trunk for anything so i barely open it!

trimmed out a port piece. screws are there to hold the panel down because the bass was rattling it with just velcro. screws cant be see but b/c of the flash on my cam you can see in pic

    systemclean9-16-09005.jpg

oh yeah here's what everyone was waiting to see. navigation Rom relocated:

and OH YES. IT SLAMS! I haven't gotten it metered yet but its pretty loud. 100x louder than it was before!

  4. i uploaded a video of the NEW system in the car but sorry NO pics yet because its not done yet. we still have trim panels left to make, get those wrapped in suede, floor panels and other interior pieces to wrap in suede/vinyl and put back in the car. so no sneak pics until it's all done and i give the car a nice bath!

  5. Wow everything is real nice. Where did you get your brakes from?

i'm on v6performance.net and there was a huge group buy. i got everything for 2,200 where the whole kit for front & rear would've costed close to 6k or so

Looks really good man and i love the fact that you take so many pictures, even of the little stuff. Makes us Picture Whores happy so keep them coming. Car looks mint even with 100k+ miles.

got 111k+ on it now. i just baby it thats why. still needs body work though. thats prob gonna be the last thing i do to it before major engine work :)

i also had to lose my torsion bars in the trunk so a broom is my temporary trunk prop, we're going to be adding gas struts to it

We did my system about a year ago. A few months ago a leak started in my car out of nowhere so i gutted out the system, trunk and back seats to find the leak. It rained a lot and the leak never came back. My coworker wanted to do a new box design in my car so I figured why not. Kept the same subs and the amp rack the same. We decided to do it ported through the rear deck. Here are the construction pics. It should be done around the end of next week. (I'm in the middle of moving so i got other priorities before my wham wham)

because of the location of the port and the box, my factory dvd rom had to be relocated and the brackets cut. i'm moving it to the lower left 1/4 panel of the trunk
