  1. yes. this. same stuff this year except there isn't a 360.2 on it. glad i got mine when i did! HamSammich answered this for me. i get accomodation at work. accomodation > discount ...discount isnt that much on this stuff. RF ain't cheap!
  2. bump! got a video today Slim Thug - Boss of All Bosses playing. the bass distorts my camera but does NOT cancel out my components. my mids/highs are crystal clear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYfh0t43Sl4
  3. no videos yet. well i work at best buy in wpb of palm beach lakes blvd. we are 1 of the very few Best Buy's that do custom work. i live in jupiter though. i know wellington too. my previous full timer works at the new best buy out there. wpb ain't pretty right now. construction every where you go!
  4. Alrighty folks so here it is finally...the new set-up for my system. still consisting of the same amps: Rockford P1000-1bd Rockford P400-4 Rockford 3Sixty.2 Processor (2) Rockford P3D412 Subs here's the teasers with my 2 sets of Alpine Type R 6 1/2" components getting installed http://www.v6performance.net/forums/showthread.php?t=195770 The type Rs are so much cleaner than the Infinity Kappa Perfects! I bought 6x9 adapter plates off crutchfield to get the 6.5" fit with no problems in the rear. here is the old setup (standard ported box with black suede & black vinyl trimmed and floor trimmed out) torsion bars still intact and factory navigation in OEM location amps still the same now more than a year later bandpass through the rear deck. had to modify metal rear deck and cut a hole in it metal gone comparison between old box and new box relocated navigation wires to driver side corner of trunk FIN!: so for trunk support my coworker just got another piece of 3/4" MDF and wrapped it in black vinyl and recessed a piece of mirror plexi to give it a nice look instead of just a piece of wood lol. yea i couldve spent the money and did some type of linear actuator or motorization but i didnt want to spend any more money and i am happy with the way it is. i don't use my trunk for anything so i barely open it! trimmed out a port piece. screws are there to hold the panel down because the bass was rattling it with just velcro. screws cant be see but b/c of the flash on my cam you can see in pic oh yeah here's what everyone was waiting to see. navigation Rom relocated: and OH YES. IT SLAMS! I haven't gotten it metered yet but its pretty loud. 100x louder than it was before!
  5. i searched and searched...i even searched through members i remember seeing posted in that thread...there were 2 links somewhere in the thread that tells what program to use and how to download videos and make it into a GIF...can someone please re-direct me to that link or post it in here? once i get it, ill bookmark it and a mod can delete this post. thanks!!
  6. status update: readjust the box yesterday so its more in the trunk. coworker built trim panels and trimmed out for the factory navi rom. getting suede/vinyl tomorrow and wrapping the trim/floor panels and rear deck. putting all back together i'll have finished pics after i move into the new house and give the car a MUCH needed wash
  7. 2 rockford p3d412s and a rockford 1000-1 (1Ω). as far as engine. all basic bolt-ons right now. check my intro thread for all the mods
  8. i uploaded a video of the NEW system in the car but sorry NO pics yet because its not done yet. we still have trim panels left to make, get those wrapped in suede, floor panels and other interior pieces to wrap in suede/vinyl and put back in the car. so no sneak pics until it's all done and i give the car a nice bath! mirror shake via system http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=222rLzA7ByM mirror shake with old system..notice the difference how it takes more time w/ this old set-up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5YiWQ49JOU running 14.7 @ track http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_O_wYKQcBv8 (i only did a tire burnout b/c my friend was taping it so i figured why not)
  9. shit i already have to work. this sucks because i just put my system in and i wanna see what it does
  10. put the plexi on today and mounted/hook up the oznium tubes to see what it'd look like. going to get the trunk struts later today and possibly put the box in a few days
  11. i'm on v6performance.net and there was a huge group buy. i got everything for 2,200 where the whole kit for front & rear would've costed close to 6k or so got 111k+ on it now. i just baby it thats why. still needs body work though. thats prob gonna be the last thing i do to it before major engine work
  12. rear deck cut for the port skylight in my car lol type r's installed in 6x9 adapter plates chunk o metal removed from rear deck test fit for port mirror inside of box and bracing for box comparsion between old box and new box (yes the new box is in MDF now, home depot was on back order for MDF when we first did the box!) i also had to lose my torsion bars in the trunk so a broom is my temporary trunk prop, we're going to be adding gas struts to it subs mounted in box etching accord into 3/4" plexi and 2 oznium white cathodes with light it up when the trunk is opened (wired to trunk light) more pics will come as we work on it throughout the next 2 weeks. positive/negative criticism is always welcome! later
