  1. its not about arguing if its a valid argument but if for example you ask if its ok to run your amps at .125 ohms and everyone tells you no and you say fuck you im doing it so and so doesw it without any issues we are going to have problems. no one has ever been banned for disagreeing with someone. There have been plenty banned for being an asshat.

    Yes there has been someone banned for disagreeing with someone.....

    I don't think I've seen one post where you aren't intentionally trying to start shit...

  2. Wow, so you want something for free from someone to make yourself money on selling your truck. Go hit up craigslist or walmart, mooch.

    sorry for not wanted to pay for walmarts over priced shit.

    sorry for needing a headunit, who NO ONE else would even need.

    sorry for wasting your precious bandwidth and 3 seconds of your life.

  3. Didn't read the whole thread because I didn't care enough, however I will offer these statistics.

    At work, we use Kingston, Intel, OCZ, Crucial and Corsair SSDs.

    Here's break down of how many we have to RMA due to DOA units, as well as units that fail after they've made it to the customer.

    Kingston = 80%+ (After we got back nearly ever Kingston drive that went out, we stopped offering them)

    OCZ = 40-50%; Of the SSDs we currently offer, this is one of the highest failing brands

    Crucial = 40%

    Corsair = 35%

    Intel = Less than 5%

    Again, these are the numbers of RMA'd drives, and directly reflects the reliability of said units.

    And as for personal reference, my supervisor has been running an 310 series Intel 40GB SSD that he bought on the release date in 2010, and has no problems.

    I've been running an 80GB 320 Series for about a month, and another coworker has been running an Intel X25-E 64GB since '08.

  4. So basically, some friends of mine have been working on a documentary, and need some monetary help.

    I'll let them explain the documentary.

    What our Project is About:

    Our city; Richmond, Virginia is changing. Old buildings are being renovated or torn down and turned into apartments and parking lots. We do not want the art, culture, and history inside these buildings to be forgotten. This documentary encompasses the experience of urban exploration, urban decay and abandonment.

    Our project began on the foundation of DIY, but as the film developed, our personal resources have been depleted. We need help to bring this documentary to life.

    We sit here at a turning point in the project. As students, we have put as much monetarily we could into the project from our own pockets. We have currently taken the term broke college students to a new level. Hours upon hours every week are spent exploring, seeking out other explorers in the community, shooting, and editing.

    To get this project finished and up to our standards, we need $3000 to purchase mounting/stabilization equipment, sound equipment, and to finish shooting the film. Any pledge amount will help us as we pursue our vision of finishing this project and every pledge amount receives a reward.

    So basically what I'm asking you guys is that if you like the project and have a few extra dollars laying around please consider donating.

    You can pledge yourself here:

    http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/decayedrichmond/decayed-richmond

    Or, if you have money laying around in your PayPal, since you can't use PayPal with Kickstarter, feel free to send me money and I will make one large donation in the name of SMD near the end of the pledging period.

    PayPal = michael.l.adcock.com, just be sure to let me know what you're sending me money for.

    Thanks for reading, and supporting.

  5. I need some help...

    I want to create a weekly backup of a folder.

    Let's say I have a folder found at:

    C:\Users\Michael\Dropbox\Stormdroid\

    and every Saturday at noon, I want it to create a copy of the entire folder to:

    E:\Stormdroid\Backup-MM-DD-YYYY\

    Where MM-DD-YYYY is obviously the date.

    I don't care how the date is formatted, I just want a date to be added in.

    Can anyone help with this?

    It's Windows 7, btw.

    Thanks
