First, yep, I meant 3570K, I'm just so used to typing 2500K I guess... xD
Second, what makes you say Intel HD 4000 wouldn't work? As stated, I'm currently running integrated with no problems in GTA IV and Arkham City on High settings...
To answer the question, yes, this will be for gaming.

Oh, just to let you know, many games and programs actually perform better with HT disabled. Test test test test!
You do realize the Pentium4 days are over right?
Yes.
These CPU's are hyper threaded, you know?
He wasn't saying HT doesn't exist anymore.
Leaving HT on newer processors is much more beneficial than it used to be.
Keep it enabled.

Alright, kind of an update, I suppose.
I've been playing with other configs and think I'll actually be going with a different case.
In an attempt to keep this thing as small as possible, here's the new config:
Case: Thermaltake Elemtent Q (Mini-ITX)
Mobo: Asus P8H61-I
CPU: Intel i5-3570K
CPU Cooler: Stock Intel (That's all that can fit... Lame)
RAM: G.Skill 2x2GB (Forgot the model number)
Disk 1: Samsung 830 Series 64GB SSD
Disk 2: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB
Video: Integrated (Intel HD 4000)
PSU: 200W Thermaltake (It's included in the case)
Optical: Samsung DVD Burner
I'm going integrated video with this for three reasons:
1) Cost
2) The case only has space for a video card that takes up one PCIe slot, so I'd have to get a low end one anyway
3) My current rig is running integrated on a 3570K and I'm playing GTA IV and Battlefield on High (Not Very High, just High) with no issues
The only thing I'm worried about is the power supply.
Is 200W enough to power this thing, or should I look into buying a different one? The only reason I chose that one is because, well, it's included in the case.
edit-
In addition, I'll be modding the case to add an intake fan, as it doesn't come with any. Small cases ftl

Did you check from with the Storage Manager like I said?
-
Click Start, right click My Computer, select Manage. Select Disk Management on the left side.
Plug in the Hard Drive and see if a new disk shows up at the bottom. If it does, and the drive itself doesn't show in My Computer, the HDD has become corrupt. You'll need to delete the partition (Right Click -> Delete) and then create a new one (Right Click -> New Volume)

What software version installed? I'm looking for one that still has 3.15 or earlier.

How are you internet speeds? We've been looking around for new providers after our cable/internet went up $20. 180/month is ridiculous.

You guys that are suggesting tint brands are missing the point.
He wants security film. It makes it nearly impossible to break your glass. Well, in a short enough time to get inside and do anything, that is.

In this world I think it would be beneficial to have a dash cam lol.
I ride with my gopro on everytime I'm on my streetbike...not to show off my awesome riding skill but because if some asshole hits me I want it on camera when it comes down to inurance claims and whos fault it is.
I've actually thought about doing this, just because of the stupidity of people. Front AND rear facing cameras.
I'm about to start doing this, got one GoPro in the mail already.

Tempting....
What year/model is this, exactly?

Id call the DMV and find out what they say. Ive bought 2 cars out of state, but Im guessing your talking about private sellers; mine were at dealerships so they could provide a 30 day window.
In the same boat as him. Although I, personally, have never bought one out of state, I went with my brother to NC to get a Yukon and they gave him 30-day tags like most dealers will, and there were no problems getting it registered in VA and whatnot.

What do you think of that la noire game? Any good?
I was VERY impressed by it, honestly. Only reason I'm selling it is because I need cash.
-
Black Ops - $40
Brink - $15
Skate 3 - $20
NFS The Run - $20
LA Noire - $25
Or all 5 for $100
LA Noire is not pictured because it is not currently in my possession, my friend was borrowing it.
All of them are scratch free, pics of proof upon request.
Shipping is NOT included. We will see what the cheapest way to ship, and then split the cost 50/50.

can I get mine changed to just simply "michael" if that's not taken, please?
If it is, no biggie.

Woah, I like this. I like this a LOT.
-
Optical cover and media reader come in it.
And yes, please none of the "But this, buy that"
This is THE configuration I'm going with, it's my own personally modified version of our Z5 system we offer at velocitymicro.com and I will be buying it through us, so there will be no changes made.
To reword this, the configuration I noted MAY change, but it will ONLY be if what is available to me at work changes.
Again, I DO NOT WANT your opinions on what I "should buy" or "need to buy," I know what I'm doing.
I do this for a living, let me do what I want.
-
No dude, 4gb of ram, a 32 gb pagefile and you need a 690 GTX to keep up with that CPU.
No.

Alright, I'm starting a build for my girlfriend's rig. It's going to be a fairly slow build, with a projected completion date of Christmas. It's going to be a Christmas gift.
I'll be buying parts here and there until I get it all, and building as I work along.
Here's the goodies:
Case: Velocity Micro MX2-W Black (Pic)
Mobo: Asus P8B75-M/CSM
CPU: Intel i5-2500K (Overclocked to 4.3GHz)
CPU Cooler: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7
SSD: Intel 520 Series 60GB
HDD: Undetermined 1TB
RAM: Patriot 2x4GB 1333MHz
Video: EVGA GTX 560 SuperClocked
PSU: Velocity Micro 700W Non-Modular
Optical: Lite-on 24x DVD Burner
I'll have the case by the end of the week so I'll post up some more pics if you guys want.

Do a sideways wall, just close off the entire passenger side of the vehicle.
-
How much are you looking to sell it for?
(Also, I think this is classified as a BST thread, and will be closed fairly quickly...)
-
I can see what I can do.
I assume Team DBs in your sig?
Got a link to a high res version of the logo?
Second Personal Build (This will be a slow one)

My monitor is 1080p (it's actually a tv, but still).
I know GTA is set to 720p, not sure what I ended up on with Arkham City. I believe they are both 720p, although I know I tried 1080p on Arkham, can't remember how well it ran on that though.
