I'm looking to use my stock 6x9 holes as my way for the air to get straight into the cabin, so I'm doing 6.5"s in the rear deck somehow or another.

Where can I get pictures of Steve's civic's rear deck before it was stolen...? I heard he had the 6.5" components back there and was utelizing a blow through... I just wanted to get some pictures and ideas of how he did it, I'm wanting to give it a shot. Thanks, Andrew

Also, can anyone let me know how hard it would be for me to build a custom rear deck for 6.5" components and use my old 6x9 slots basically like cut throughs? Possible for someone my age?

Big-sexy, what subs were they running in the civic? I want something that'll get pretty dang loud off that amp I got... It was benched at 1273 or something like that. Also, it says in your profile that you're a female??? Is this true lol

What if I said I could get an S.I. Mag 12" for $350? Would that be a better single 12" choice then the Q?

Yo thanks, you guys have been so helpful... I'm not sure if my dad's gonna go for letting me cut the back dash up 'cause he payed for like 75% of the car. or would a memphis MCA2004 which does 50 x 4 at 4 ohm be better?

Would a RF T4004 be good for those Alpine Type R components?

That'll have better output then the regular upside box?

Alt. - 180 amp from iraggi Battery - Kenetik HC1400 Box - 2.2 cu. ft tuned to 31 hz w/ the cut out in the rear deck Any suggestions? Still need the component amp.

Ok, you think I should face the sub towards the cabin or towards the rear?

What would be the problem if there were sharp edges? I figured I would have to weld because their's the top plastic piece I could cut through but then there's the metal underneath the plastic piece. So now I need to have the port facing up? lol

So you're sayin cut a square out of the center of my rear deck to connect the air directly from the trunk to the cabin? I've seen that done before but the port from the box connected to that hole. I don't know how to figure out the tuning for a box like that... I also dont know if I can do the welding for something like that myself, any other way to do it besides welding? If I can get help from people on here to do it then I'll give it a try. So what component amp do you reccomend?

I have the coupe so I'm only replacing the frontstage, so 1 set (2 6.5" speakers and 2 tweeters). Do you think I'll be alright getting rid of my rear deck speakers to let the bass through? Will it be that big of a difference without the 6x9's?

I think I'm just gonna keep my current amp and run the single 12" Q or 12" mag. I'll say, that will leave me w/ around $400 for components and component amp. Suggestions?

Ok, so removing my rear 6x9's will give me more spl by allowing the bass to go through to the cab right? Will my speakers sound worse with out the 6x9's or no? And do you think I should sell my memphis amp for something bigger and possibly do 2 12" Q's or 2 12" arsenals or just keep my amp and work on my fronstage? I just found out my alt. will cost me $380 from iraggi, so that leave's me with about $600 for subs, components and a component amp and possibly a little more then $600.

so you're saying... port facing the cabin of the car and the subs facing up will get the loudest?
