Well THAT would be easy on the eye

Job or no job, why do you want a build with "little effort"? The members on this site dont base judgement on numbers, they base it on the fact that you put time and effort into to a build thats done correctly and efficiently.

Id say normally 50 x4 rms is decent, but i run 100 x 4 and it gets very loud.
I'm looking for "clear" over "loud" to be honest with you
-
rms power means nothing
like I said, I'm not too knowledgeable about it.
-
I have very little knowledge when it comes to mids and highs. How much power do I need in a 4 channel amplifier to let the install actually be worth my time and money?
Thanks!
Sam

an amp called bass amp 100 will probably clip and destroy ANY sub. I wouldn't hate JL for that one.

10:2, soon to be 10:4, my goal is 20:4

Since the Tshirt designing for DC and AQ have been blowing up I think SMD should have a contest where everyone can design the perfect SMD shirt as well. We could start it now and have a vote that way the design could be made before summer gets here. I'm sure they would sell great if they were designed by one of us. Maybe turn it into a charity type deal where some or all of the proceeds go to charity. I would certainly buy one. Any thoughts??
If proceeds went to charity than yeah, Id buu one
as for charity, why would i do that? Making shirts is expensive, a PAIN IN THE ASS (shipping, invoicing, recieveing money, keeping inventory) with VERY LITTLE return money......thats why i dont do it anymore, someone else does them for me (and they are slacking HARD!). I am down for charities and all that but if some of you think that me, or someone else who sells a T shirt is gettin rich off of it you better think again.
it was the OP's idea. I merely stated that I would buy it if that was the case.

Depends on your box, if you want to move air, try around 12-16sq in of port per cube.
For aero ports this rule will work.
For slot ports 20+ is needed.
20 is awesome if possible, however it is certainly not needed.

sick truck, sick build. are your tail lights blue though?

Ohkay can you show us the videos? Ohkay it seems like itd be easier if you showed us. Ohkay this shouldnt be that hard. Ohkay it will look great when youre done.

Ok, so I have a 35W 6000K HID kit for my 9006 size headlights. I, however, would like to upgrade to 55W 8000K while switching my current HIDs to my fog lights. My problem: my fog lights are size 880. I was wondering; could I solder two harnesses like the ones linked below in order to make an adapter for my fog lights so I can just use the kit I have now?
Thanks!
Sam
IIRC I tried just plugging the ballast into the 880 plug on my fogs and it fits but it can't clip together or anything. I was able to make it work though and they didn't come apart until I pulled them apart. Give it a try. Then you would just have to either modify your fog housings to fit your current bulbs or get some 880 6000k bulbs.
what'd you do to make the bulbs stay in the ballast?
You mean the plugs?
I didn't do anything, the rubber on the outside of the plug made for a tight seal and it just kinda held itself together. If you really wantet to you could probably tape them together or something of the like.
sounds like a game plan! thanks a lot broski.

use it for some mid bass!!

arguably the worst on the site. my build is gonna consist of 4 Hifonics HFi's and either a 2000 or 2600W Brutus. Still nothing special, but I don't compete or anything.
