well i assume it makes ur box stiffer and stronger plus seals it, but can anyone tell me exactly what it does and how much its reccomended? is it really that much better?tell me everything

Hey Fella's I been really thinkin Bout a tattoo. Yes the Kinetik green Grimlin, But I wanna spice it up a little.
Maybe Take the grimlin Brighten his eyes too glow, and maybe a white Lighting Bolt In btween his hands, either in front of him or above/around his head.
Im a big fan of car audio, I has always liked kenitik powercells, I am sure if it looks good I wont regret this one, and ill have a REAL artist do it lol.
What u guys think?

Well it's hard to say with such beefy 6x9's, but generally the boxes should be between .5-.8 ft^3. You should get some pics of those beasts up lol

well My borther inlaw just got his 6x9's in and happend to get cadence cvl's. they have 2 inch triple layer voicecoil, doublestacked magnet's. Ive see these in person and ive seen 12's and even 15's with smaller magnets then these lol.
they are suposedly very strickly rated like rockford, said too be underated. at 150rms 300max.
right now he just has them inverted in his old mounts, so...what im getting at is, im wanting too seal them in a box from the bottom.
but what would be a good size enclosure to seal these in? with true 150rms each being 6x9's?
I guess he just wants too play some high end 40-60hz on them and use them as his lows witch should sound pretty good, cuz even free air they rattle his grill+bumper rofl. :hairtrick:

if youre gunna do tens and you want the most out of it... Go with a dual t-line enclosure if youre willing to spend space in ur vehicle.
have someone who knows how design it, and if you got the skills build it or hire someone to build the design.

Can anybody explain this to me and how you would even wire two amps together? Ive been looking on google for almost and hour and ive learned nothing about it
try googling daisy chain amps.
some amps can do it some cant....
its a matter of the amp being daisy chainable or not.

do yourself a favor and get a pair of tweets that frito posted above. I have a feeling you would be replacing those horns more than you wish to do so...

im positive theyll take 37.5 watts each, if they dont you can list me as the biggest idoit on the forums lol.

just reading that you want 8 horns makes my ears bleed man. Two tweeters goes a long ways my friend.

but there rated at 200 max so prolly 100rms 75rms easy

ive got 3k on my 15 and only about 30 watts on each tweeter, 50 watts to each mid.
the tweeters seem to have a good balance with the bass. the mid will be uped to 160+ one i get new door panels. Tweeters usually have a higher sensitivity and dont take much power to get loud. if you got 8 and turned it up, youd soon take out atleast 4 tweeters.

on a sundown 100.4 i set the gains to give them 50 watts with the eq flat. the eq is now on negative 5 for the tweeter bands on the deck, just so i can be in the car with it on.
i say get two of those and youll be happy. 8 is deadly

600rms on mids 2 6x9's 300rms each, the 6x9s have 2" coils and 6 layers and double stack magnets.
600rms on highs 8 tweets 75 rms each
