  1.

whatever floats your boat..what kind of batts? Ran over 5k with just 2 secondary deka 9a31s didnt drop below 14.1

for how long? ive demoed for 8+ hours straight for 2 days.....

    4 kinetik 2400s and a 1400 for me....

8hrs strait lol..as long as i wanted and that was when the alt was hot. but im not goin to throw that power to a single 18 for 8 hours obviously i have no desire to listen to bass for that long.

oh im not joking at all.... ask anyone who was at slamology last year.. my car played all day both days, from when i got there to when i left....

so unless you can say you have done that or even similar... having the batts to back it up is never a bad thing....

    edit

and a saz 4500 doesnt mean you are getting 5k+ out of it... you could have 4x the rise and be sitting at 8 ohms.....

    but you knew that right?

  2. how do these like .5 ohm?

As long as your electrical is good you will be fine. These actually belong to a friend of mine that I am selling them for. I had one hooked up to one of my old Level 5 dual 1s in his expedition, his electrical was a 220amp alt a 4 group 31 yellow tops and had no issues whatsoever at .5ohm.

i have a stock alt stock front battery. and an xs d3400 in the back. all in 1/0 with big 3 in 1/0.

will that be enough? i want to upgrade my alt. but its a money issue. i will be setting gains with a oscope and watchin my voltage.

  3. 3:1 ratio is the best 2:1 is good too.

    tune to about 48-52 Hz.

2:1 is better for daily IMO. higher ratios are more efficient but lack a lil bandwidth  .

& yes OP, bandpasses are tuned higher than regular ported boxes bcuz u have the sealed chamber helping control it.

i agree the 2:1 is better for daily. sorry i was in a rush and was typing quick.

    :pardon:
