Im about to try my luck on some fiberglass work for my door speakers and ive never done it so trial and error...just looked at some replacement door panels for my truck and they are 245 each so wish me luck
good luck x10! thats expensive. you should go to a junkyard and pull some off a junk car. doesnt have to be your exact car. youd save alot of money. a place by me is LKQ and you walk in and bring your own tools and get whatever you need and you pay them for it. you could prolly get a door panel for 15 bucks.

Goodluck! If it makes you feel any better I'm going to attempt glassing for my first time really soon, and have no confidence whatsoever lol. That's why I'm going to do exactly what I told you to do
haha i want to see that. i wont get to glass anytime soon. id like to see a person on my level attempt it
-
alright well ill see what happens.
-
lol i want to try but i dont want to ruin it. im confident in myself being a noob and know that somewhere somehow ill screw it up lol
-
ive never done fiberglass or anything like that but i wanted my door speakers to be able to show.
i dont really know much about it and ive been reading some posts but still dont quite understand how it works
and i dont want to attempt to do my doors if they're just going to come out terrible. lol

could be the alternator bearing on the pulley
-
i personally would do 2 dc lvl 2 8"s in a ported box
I've looking into those, but they're a out of my budget.
they're having a sale on them now i just saw. you could do a 4th order. could be 2-3 cubes
-
I need a price on two level 2 8's as well as a level 3 12 with 4 coils.
-
it was probly a batt located inside the box that the headunit was mounted in
-
welcome to the site. the RF's should sound good. until you catch the Bass Fever. then everything starts to become too quiet
-
thanks guys.. im gonna run 2 12 inch lvl 5's off two 3.5K amps strapped. a 210 amp alternator, kenetik 600 under the hood and 4 kenetiks in the back.all 0 gauge runs.. dont know about a box.. any recommended specs???
4th order! hoping you have alot of space to use. that would be loud

big 3
batt
alt
more batts
x2 big three is a must.
-
So do u think I should get the altonator first or the battery
a battery first. .
when you do it also watch your voltage drop so you dont fry your amp
-
okay awesome. im just a college kid so im trying to buy good things but cheap lol
-
I did big 3 in 1/0 and have a d3400 under my hood with stock alt and with 2k I never dropped under mid 13s at idle even after a whole song.
alright. ill aslo be running an MB Quart onx4.125 as well do you think that will drop my voltage more?
-
thanks guys. i have the big 3 done in 4g should i upgrade to 0 or should i be fine?
-
D3100 is over your $250 budget. If this is for daily use and going to be used as a secondary battery then you could go with the D3400 and you will get more performance out of it than the one in the link you posted. $259.99 plus shipping.
haha thank you. i saw the link for the d3100 and had a "oh Damn" look on my face.
it is a DD and i was going to use it as a second battery in the back. or would it be more efficient under the hood?
-
i was looking at a D3100 but i was wondering if any of you guys knew the price range this is in.
i need a strong batt to run an AQ2200 with my stock alt. im pretty sure it does about 120A
a buddy of mine suggested this battery from sears http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_02850065000P?mv=rr
i was wondering what yall think about that battery as well. the most id be able to do is about 250 for a battery, so any other suggestions are welcome
thanks guys

George Bush should have looked at this thread back in 2003.. you guys know all about WMDs.
Didn't quite get this )): lol
Bush started the WMD search in the middle east. (weapons of Mass Destruction)

Or the ACC in your fuse box.
x2 i was just about to say that lol.
-
does your key go into the steering wheel?
-
you could run it straight off your ignition switch. make your own ignition wire.
-
i own a 50 in Panasonic plasma and love it! the plasma does well when there is a glare from the light in my room. its pretty damn expensive though almost 3k
my buddy also just bought a 42 in LED tv from samsung i believe and it has awesome picture quality.
I also own a 32 in lcd Panasonic and it runs like a champ. at about 300 dollars
i guess im just trying to say that you cant really go wrong with panasonic or a samsung. ive never really liked a visio, but the only experience ive had with them are from other's tv's.
-
well i figured it out,,, it was the ignition switch guess my car dosnt have an ACC ignition position so i just have to connect it to the battery wire, thanks though lol
Wouldn't it be on 24/7 then and drain your battery?
i think you can do that. i did it on my buddy's fiero and alls he had to do was make sure that he turned off the actual headunit when he got out of the car. (dont quote me on it)
should i even try ?
in Fabrication, Fiberglass, Etc

i definitely will try and post. (many pics lol) when the time comes. i want to actually buy all the needed things for the new system before i start throwing my money into the glass pit
