  1. i had totaled my car in april and had been givin my grandfathers truck ext. cab, as a replacement until i could buy another car. btw

i had two kenwood w3011, nothing special, in a 4 cube ported box. originally it loaded off the trunk on my other car. i was probly hitting low 43 db, rough guess. my stepdad says that im not allowed to remove the back seats so its almost impossible to load off of anything in the truck. a buddy of mine said a sixth order bandpass system may do the trick to giving it something to load off of with the port facing the window. Is this a difficult system to tune? ive heard that if this system isnt tuned correctly it can screw up the speakers pretty bad.

also if any other boxes or setups may help bring the subs back to their old potential let me know, its frustrating hearing them now in comparison to how they used to sound.

    thanks alot

  2. yeah if you score well on the asvab try and get a job that they need more people in. im going into the marines next summer as an EOD. i have asthma but it never bothers me, but if you have it after your 13th bday or something they consider you an asthmatic for the rest of your life. but marines are in desperate need of eod's so the only ruling factor is if i make it through boot camp.. which is most likely since i run xc and weightlift all the time. hopefully my asthma wont make a freak appearance while im there.

  3. why would you buy a car like that??? i mean i dont even understand how dealers sucker people into buying hybrids and all that garbage.

lets save the environment. but i wonder if the dealer tells the customer that when the batts for hybrids go bad that they cant be recycled and are just even more pollutant than gas. lol and that you have to own a hybrid for more than ten years to actaully make a profit. lol dang people are dumb.

and i wonder what the cost of labor is for a solar panel roof on a car if it gets messed up.

btw if anyone is wondering why i posted this its cus i saw an add for a solar panel prius. lol

  4. OUCH, lol yeah mine isnt a true gsr tho, its just the frame, has the type r engine with engine mods done to it tho :)

back on topic, yeah lvl 5s are the way to go, so 4 lvl 5 10s seems the way to go

haha nice. go with team skunk for performance. they are top of the line when it comes to performance for integras.

me and a buddy dumped 5k in new cams crankshaft pistons, manifold, suspension, etc. we were pushin about 400bhp with out a turbo. haha next on the list is a 33mm stage 3 greddy. lol prolly 18lbs of boost. we dont know if the block can take much more than that.

alright i might go with the lvl 5's

prolly start the build late september. ill def put up pics for everyone. :)

  5. army guy. i see you have a gsr. i found an integra over here in sc right side drive direct from tokyo. honda integra type r. i was literally about to go buy the thing and i had talked to the dealer and he said he'd hold it for me while i went to the bank to get money and the jack ass sold the thing while i was gone. like 5 hrs went by and he sold it on me.

i bitched the guy out for hours. lol just figured id say that. idk if your an integra lover or not. i prefer an rsx type r, but when i saw that integra i almost shit my pants haha

  6. i dont know man it sucks to hear that. but the ARMY does have a waiver for practically anything, but with the high risk of you bleeding out they may not send you into combat but rather give you a desk job. the best thing to do is see what the recruiter says. try talking to the marines as well, if combat is what your looking for then they have it. even if your at a desk your always carrying your weapon. if you get a job overseas your more likely to have a little more combat experience as a marine. but i hope it works out for you man.

what kind of position are you looking for ?

  7. yeah most of the people they hire are relatively low qualified. at least the one over near me they dont know much of anything about cars when it comes to anything past basic knowlege, (fuses, simple wiring, etc..) you can learn most of the stuff just by looking at a manual for your own car and applying that basic knowlege to other cars. using google or other search engines and type in anything you might not be sure of or problems you hear about while your there will help alot too. basically if you know how to use a computer and change your oil, and other fluids and have basic analytical skills you will be fine.

    good luck dude
