  1. Try facing them up at the rear deck if theres room, it will sound better and the subs would still be safe

I might give that a try! But not sure if they will fit, the box is pretty deep.

I wanna try some glassing on the front doors to get my other set of kappas in, maybe ill do some on the rear deck too, to fit the box firing upwards.

Thanks for the idea never thought of it. :tease:

  2. I can understand having kids and needing room for stuff. So point taken and I hope you know I meant no disrespect, just my 2 cents lol!

I know you you didn't mean any disrespect. Most everyone on this forum seems pretty cool!

I wanna do a bunch of things but, money is tight right now. My wife works for a school = no pay during summer. Plus, my 2nd job (working for old man) has been with out pay, these last few weeks.

When things get better, I will do some playing around. Would like to see what I can do with glass. Me = inexperienced with glass. lol

  3. hey guys, this amp has just been sittin around my room, but i recently looked some info up on it on google, i read on one site that it was 2ohm stable..... although the booklet say 4ohm min. does anyone know if this is true, or if i can some how modify it to be 2 ohm stable.

Maybe its 4ohms min bridged and 2ohms stereo? unless its a mono block.

  4. Nice setup but I am trying to figure out why your amps are in front of your subs! I would recomend putting all your amps in the trunk and sliding your box forward until you seal off the trunk. If thats a possible move for you I would recommend it. But other than that it looks nice and clean!

Reason being I have kids and need to use the trunk sometimes. I want to be able to use whats left of the trunk, worry free! I would much rather have the subs rear firing but, gatta think of possible damage.

  5. here are a few pics of my lil setup. I know its tiny and simple, compared to most of yours on here. Anyways, I blew one of the perfects, replaced it with kappas. I also have another set I want to install in the doors. I want to glass them in, when my wallet is better. Well, I hope you all like. (be nice lol)

It does sound really good, although, thinking bout switching to a sealed box.

  6. I love the sound of infinity and have run infinity since 2000. with my exp. I wouldnt give them more than maybe 65 watts. Infinitys love to blow, I mostly have problems with the mid-basses. I would also block all extra low freqs from getting to to them.
