[Help with crackling noise/sound from tweeters?]

On both my alpines that ive had (now a cde-102) you hear a very noticeable hiss when the HU is on AUx ... and ive tried different aux cables ... and even no aux cable. No luck for me.

Ounds like you might be in needs of repairs! look for a vent and smell it you will know or open it up and take a look! Also, have you taken all power from it? Good luck with it. would be shity if 1 bad speaker killed it.

You can find type rs 12s for like 200 a pair new on ebay and pick up a decent amp for a few hundred and have moneys left over to do your highs too!

awesome!! congrats man. thats a great feeling. i remember when my kids were born. best feeling ever. my daughter just graduated preschool today, that was an awesome feeling too. even though its only preschool i was proud when she was student of the year.

There is software that will also tell you. The name of it escapes me Thats how I was sure. My data kept getting curupt so tested it with software. sure enough my what apeared as 15 gigs was really 2g

If its a jump drive its probably fake like 2 gig stick to look like what ever size! (cant go to ebay on hospital wifi) google fake usb drives on ebay you will see! I bought a fake 16giger luckly got my money back.

Oh ok..the reason also i was asking this is because i got me self a tsunami battery terminal and its got 2 1/0 gauge connection and 2 4 gauge connections..and i will be kinda short of space to put the factory wires!! and i thought it would be wise to ask who knows more about it! YOU GUYS!!! SMD people FTMFW!!! so now it seems..I must get rid of that battery terminal post??

There is really no wrong answer here. You can drop the oem wires and will work fine with just the 0awg , we just suggest you don't.

Ya that set is 2ohm. And its to get more power for those who just run off H/U or thats what i have been told.

x2 they are 2ohm, had me comfused too at first when I was buying replacement tweeters. (got a bad 1 in one of my sets broken wire or something and bought off ebay no warraty)
