  1. Wicked vid. I was literally just looking at 0 gauge and trying to figure out why that stuff was half as much as the other and where the "buying the name" curve ended and the "this stuff is plain shit" curve began.

Ever looked into the Cadence stuff? Thanks for posting!

dude cadence is no good im tellin ya i can get it way to cheap for it to be any good like less than copper weighs 45 dollars for 50 ft. roll is no good its just not economically possible to sell wire that cheap unless its not ofc

  2. i think ray thought that you didn't use the post the copper lug was on. But extreme auto said that he messed his post on the alt up by using the wrong terminal like you might have so maybe you should look into that not saying its to late to fix but if your gonna change to the one they sent you might as well look at the post while you are there

that was my plan, it just popped into my head after scrolling through youtube and seeing all these people running such small amount of batts and around the power i have and a 270amp alt and keeping in the low 13's full tilt, made me think, well shit i did something wrong here

i mean my alts been in for awhile now, about the 2nd day after i got it, i might run to autozone and get it tested, if itll read that high, i know how some dont, maybe ill get lucky

right on maybe do the autozone first if you can that way when you fix you could see how much better it gets :good:

  3. Batcap isn't a battery, its a battery/capacitor hybrid which is why its able to charge and discharge almost instantaneously. I've heard from 3 people who have switched from the XS D3100 to the Batcap 4000 (one is on this site) that the performance is near the exact same except the batcaps recharge faster. And that would make sense.

Compared to other batteries 20+ mohms, I would say XS is great. I love my D3100s

    i know who.

stinger2250/2150 has one of the lowest resistances for large batts btw

It was either scotty or nathan that has said the stinger batteries are the next best battery compared to a XS Power, not sure if they mean in general, or for just for a couple batteries.

I need to look at specs again once I am on a computer, but I think less reserve lower internal resistance maybe it all balances out performance wise. My D3100s held charge longer than my SPV2250s. And for the money, MUCH happier with XS. Although in the next couple months will be testing out Batcaps. :drinks:

and id like to see how this goes :good:

  4. I remember them talking about it in the videos but also...

    Dealer

Also states an ultra low internal resistance. And on many other dealer websites as well. But not on XS's or wcCarAudio

Side note. I know what internal resistance is and how it applies, lol

http://infiniteelectronix.com/batcapmodel4000.aspx batcap is 2 m Ohms and over 2000 amps

    edit: fixed Ohms

  5. first off...ROFL at your avatar  lol.

if your pump/tank doesn't come with tubing, you'll need some tubing. possibly some fittings as well. some kits come with these things, some don't. what is the PSI rating on your pump? you'll need an electric switch to cut it off when it reaches a certain PSI. and i assume the air horns have a solenoid built into them already.

    this^ times a million :good:

  6. People, please read a little better.

    T1500bdcp is rated 1,000wrms at 4ohm.....

if your talkin to me i still think the 1250 or whatever would be better cause he could just back the amp off than the t1000 that won't give him the power he needs at 3 ohms

I wasn't talking to anyone in particular. But, ever seen a W7 on a true 1,000? It doesn't like it very much. Lol

nah i havn't to pricey for my blood :good:
