Try Switching From Optima To Xs Power
Which xs battery would you recommend
-
you dont know what kind though?
nope have no idea gonna have to ask my friend
-
what alternator?
a friend suggested to get a bigger alt so he said he would get it for me a 250 amp alt for 325$
-
Is your 11.8 at full tilt
yep
-
Is the amp at a 1ohm load?
yes its actually at 1.34 ohms
-
Im getting way too much voltage drops with this amp right now i have the big 3 done and a ho 260 amp alt and two yellow top optimas and all my wiring is 0 gauge it drops too 11.8 bolts and thd amp gets a little warm

what about this one http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8988_Rockford+Fosgate+Power+T600-4.html
under rated
it is in my budget i might buy this one insted
-
Grab the used section for an RF 4 x 100-125 Watts amp
i'm getting a rockford fosgate t800.4 for the mids or maybe a 1000.4 can't decide
-
-
I wouldn't put any more than 125 RMS without going active.
Is the mbcourt amp high quality because I want the speakers too sound loud and crisp clear
-
bump any one?
-
i have 8 alpine spr-17s 6.5's in my 03 chevy suburban each speaker is 330 watts and 110 watts rms i want to get everything out of these mids and what amp could i get to power them. right now i have a crunch 1800.4 amp powering them but i think it's too small for the speakers what do yall think im on a budget can't pass 450$. :hairtrick:

most likely popped the fuse for the RCA ground in the headunit, or something along those lines...is it a pioneer?
it's a jvc headunit
-
what do you mean by rca ground???
-
wow someone knows how to use punctuation.
most likely bad RCA's
i believe the reason behind it is there is a flow of energy still (meaning bad ground i think) which causes a humming sound
so for a good ground , ground the amp to the frame and both my batteries and the big 3????
and replace the rca's to the amp??
-
:hairtrick: why when im driving or just at my house listening to music then all of a sudden the bass comes on with no music on and i turn the volume all the way down and still hear the sound unless i take the rca's off then it stop's for some reason but how is it possible if there is no sound or volume from the headunit????????
-
anything around 2k RMS rated power is going to do well on a level 5. No need for more power then that really
so if i put a hifonics bxi 2608 the lv 5 will pound
-
I have a sundown 3500 on 2 dc audio lvl4xl 18's and it pushes the hell outta them, but if I were to get the lvl5's id do 2 sundown 3500. Im selling all my stuff, if you might be interested in the sundown 3500 pm me
how big is the 3500 and how do you pm people i'm kinda new to this
-
:hairtrick: what is a good amp to use on a dc audio lv 5 15, i was looking for an amp that is at least 2,500 watts and up at 1 ohm. i need an answer asap because im bout to buy it tomorrow.
-
When in doubt always go with the cone area. IF the equipment is actually comparable that is
yep definetly getting 2 dc audio lv 4 15's with lv 5 coil and upgraded spider and 8 gauge direct leads and upgraded leads from singles to doubles
-
umm what about 2 18" lvl5?
i dont want to get 18's they take up too much space and i don't have the power to push them
-
2600 rms? coming from what amp?? and whats the box specs?...
i would go for the 2 15s if you have the room... if not go for the DC lvl 5...
it's a hifonics 2610d and the box is 6.5 cubes and tuned to 33hz
-
whats better to handle 2600 watts rms 2 dc audio lv 4 15's or 1 fi btl 15 fully loaded or a dc audio lv5 :hairtrick: :hairtrick:
