Those Daytons are VERY nice drivers. I would absolutely recommend them in the a-pillar along with a silk dome tweeter.

You're tweetin', but you aint' speakin' lol......

Very nice. Blowing up that sax lol.

Are you proud of your 5'' tips, sir?

? I got 41.974192843462035'' as your port length if those are your real specs(83^2'' of port, 4.15 cubes, and 33hz). Something isn't right brotha man....... Your port really 42'' long?

Nice. I am installing a full CDT array for a local. I am excited to see how it turns out as I have never heard and CDTs before. I also want to hear their upstage kit, it looks intriguing.

**Facepalm**
LOL!!!!! IDK what is going on in these vids lol.

Just saw the video of the damage. Fuck man.......
Well at least you be able to get a fresh hatch and shave the whole thing this time around. Maybe some new tails too. Kinda sucks.
Do work son.

I built a box over this past weekend and i told my boy at work about it.
He wanted a demo and i said alright. we hopped in the ride and took off.
Needless to say the laughs he produces at the end of the vid are priceless to me
Quality is not that great because it was shot on a blackberry but you get the idea lol
Have you turned the box around? If you have not sealed the box off from the rest of the trunk running them forward usually is not the best option. In theory is should get lower and sound louder firing towards the rear of the car.

Head over to fixmyspeaker.com when you need the recones. David(Owner) sews the tinsels into the spiders solving this problem that RE had.
I bought a blown xxx 12 and had it turned into a 18 by David. It is amazing.

Are these things tuned at a specific frequency? I know they get low as hell...
I don't have the single, I have the Dual for W3's, made in 2004 I believe. Shop I bought it from just happened to have it with the W3v3's in it so I bought it for $600 w/ the subs and I love it. Pic of it in my sig.
The newer ones for the W6 have the air coming over the top but in this design the air is like a ported.
Top view opened of a Dual HO some guy made for his W7's on another forum:
I always thought they were just big sealed boxes lol. That is actually a 4th order bandpass believe it or not. That explains it getting down and dirty.

why do you continuously says "F-I" when somebody already told you its "fye", Like "five" without the "v" sound
Why do you give a fuck?

This is why there is a Video section on SMD.com
SQ setup is kind of a stretch though. Having more than one speaker in the front reproducing the same frequency keeps this from being a true SQ set up.

Love those dsc2000.1 's. Clean and loud power for cheap!!! @#$% yeah! You think it could run daily at .5 though? Im scared to try that with mine! Maybe with perfect electrical eh.
Might do half but he'll more then likely mess with these at 2 ohms, and then get them reconed to dual 1 each, and for as much sound quality as possible. We'll see.
And yeah. The 2000.1s are amazing. I don't even have a use for one but I still bought one lol. It is just sitting in my room. I probably will pick up another one so I can have 4kw for my next car.

We might drop it to half, or recone the subs to a more SQ based recone with d1 coils so it can be run at 1 ohm. We are waiting for his second batt and such before that happens though.
-
great subs/rebuilder too
looks good
how come no bracing from middle brace to side walls, they look big and very flex prone
could throw some dowel rods in there easy if at full power you notice the sides flexin
Looking back, I am not sure why i didn't lol.
I dont "think" there is going to be any problems, seeing as this box will probably never see more than 2500rms, but I keep an eye out to see if it needs any reinforcement.

Build is for my local friend, he might chime in under the name "whoisasdf"........
Box is 7.6cuft tuned to 30.5hz using two full length 6'' Aeros. If you would like the plans I have them available, but for reference the box measures 37.5''x25.5''x19.5''.
He is running two RE HCs, reconed with PSI parts. He is also running two sets of Phoenix Gold RSD comps, one set per door. DSC2000.1 at 2 ohms for the subs(till he gets his electrical up), and a DSC4125 bridged at 8 ohms, 2 channels, running the front doors.
Wood was ripped by Allstar71, box built by me though.
Post-carpet pics and vid in a minute.....

OOOOOOOO........ I'll have to pick up a pair for the teg when I don't feel like giving up the whole trunk for a 15. These get down in the right enclosure, don't they?

LOL! I was going to keep my mouth shut but since your arrogance asked..... It was not funny, and I am not impressed with your "wall". It is more/less a box in your back seat trimmed of with 2x4's, duct tape, and expanding foam. Seems to be a one not wonder on top of that. Congrats.
