  1. LOL! I was going to keep my mouth shut but since your arrogance asked..... It was not funny, and I am not impressed with your "wall". It is more/less a box in your back seat trimmed of with 2x4's, duct tape, and expanding foam. Seems to be a one not wonder on top of that. Congrats.
  2. Those Daytons are VERY nice drivers. I would absolutely recommend them in the a-pillar along with a silk dome tweeter.
  3. ? I got 41.974192843462035'' as your port length if those are your real specs(83^2'' of port, 4.15 cubes, and 33hz). Something isn't right brotha man....... Your port really 42'' long? Kevin
  4. Nice. I am installing a full CDT array for a local. I am excited to see how it turns out as I have never heard and CDTs before. I also want to hear their upstage kit, it looks intriguing.
  5. Just saw the video of the damage. Fuck man....... Well at least you be able to get a fresh hatch and shave the whole thing this time around. Maybe some new tails too. Kinda sucks. Do work son.
  6. Have you turned the box around? If you have not sealed the box off from the rest of the trunk running them forward usually is not the best option. In theory is should get lower and sound louder firing towards the rear of the car.
  7. Head over to fixmyspeaker.com when you need the recones. David(Owner) sews the tinsels into the spiders solving this problem that RE had. I bought a blown xxx 12 and had it turned into a 18 by David. It is amazing.
  8. I always thought they were just big sealed boxes lol. That is actually a 4th order bandpass believe it or not. That explains it getting down and dirty. Kevin
  9. This is why there is a Video section on SMD.com SQ setup is kind of a stretch though. Having more than one speaker in the front reproducing the same frequency keeps this from being a true SQ set up. Kevin
  10. Might do half but he'll more then likely mess with these at 2 ohms, and then get them reconed to dual 1 each, and for as much sound quality as possible. We'll see. And yeah. The 2000.1s are amazing. I don't even have a use for one but I still bought one lol. It is just sitting in my room. I probably will pick up another one so I can have 4kw for my next car. Kevin
  11. We might drop it to half, or recone the subs to a more SQ based recone with d1 coils so it can be run at 1 ohm. We are waiting for his second batt and such before that happens though.
  12. Looking back, I am not sure why i didn't lol. I dont "think" there is going to be any problems, seeing as this box will probably never see more than 2500rms, but I keep an eye out to see if it needs any reinforcement. Kevin
  13. Just to make sure everything was working, dont worry, I know it is scary lol........ Pushed back..... A door for reference...... And a short vid..... The mono is running at 2ohms so no full power yet. Easily the loudest thing I have ever heard. Can't wait to hear it on full power....... Kevin
  14. Build is for my local friend, he might chime in under the name "whoisasdf"........ Box is 7.6cuft tuned to 30.5hz using two full length 6'' Aeros. If you would like the plans I have them available, but for reference the box measures 37.5''x25.5''x19.5''. He is running two RE HCs, reconed with PSI parts. He is also running two sets of Phoenix Gold RSD comps, one set per door. DSC2000.1 at 2 ohms for the subs(till he gets his electrical up), and a DSC4125 bridged at 8 ohms, 2 channels, running the front doors. Wood was ripped by Allstar71, box built by me though. Post-carpet pics and vid in a minute..... Kevin
  15. If you had 4, I would be picking these up lol. GLWS Kevin
  16. OOOOOOOO........ I'll have to pick up a pair for the teg when I don't feel like giving up the whole trunk for a 15. These get down in the right enclosure, don't they? Kevin
