Soo i do belive its an issue with the box being to small. Dose anyone have any recommendations for a box for this sub? Im really not to sure bout this wanna have some info before i do sumtin wrong. thanks

that seems like a good idea, just need to learn about that a bit and see what i can work with. i have found that my sub hits bass where its suppose to unlike my old system that just over played each bass note, this one plays them how they are suppose to sound i have to get use to that. another thing i found is if i want to hear it how i trully like it i have to have my back seats folded down. so if i where to buil a new box i would probabbly find a way to port it, or some how make it so you can hear it more in the cabin. any suggestions on that? thanks again.

the amp callls for 4g tho, and i was bumping it for 2 hrs felt my wires and its fine. It seems to be playing better the more i play it. im still just a little conserned about the speaker wire size i have witch im not too sure its like 10 or 12g, as well as my gain, bass db, and the other settings.

Housing wire isnt the same?

Alrite i got it working a bit better now. i have it at 1/2 gain and its pushin with the bass db setting to 1/4 but for a normal bass feel i need the volume up to 30/40 and with my old kicker comp 12 it would only need to be 18/40.

Box is ported, no electical upgrades, my volume level on the car is 1/2, as for volt drops it bounces between 13.8 - 14.1 not to sure bout box speces its a genertic box

Hi i have a 2006 jetta TDI and i have installed a Pioneer avh-p4200dvd head unit, with a Pioneer TS-W3002D4 12in and powering that i have a Power Acoustik BAMF-4000/1D i am running 4g wire i got from lowes stranded. now im not sure if i got it right... it dosnt seem like its bumping like it should the gain is up 3/4 and its not pushin that hard. any help please. this is how its wired -
