bump.. have to know!

disable wireless turning off when entering sleep mode.

i once bought some bass inferno 10's that claimed to handle 1500 a piece max and i put 600 rms between the 2 of em and they bottomed out. the reason im telling this story is because the motors look the same.
Yeah, that link I posted has a bottomed out one in it......

What sub is this at 2:52-2:55?

try enabling extended desktop: http://skattertech.com/2008/04/setup-multiple-monitors-in-vista/
-
That was done back in the 1920s... IIRC.
Yeah, thats what Dan said.
I dont think you would have problems with linearity really.. especially if you used a spider setup like linked in some of the above subs.

Could be a bad NIC, bad cable, modem/router/switch/hub dieing, or another PC on the network conflicting IP's with you... if your icon on the bottom right is changing between connected and disconnected.
If its not then it could be your ISP is having issues with a recent large update that went out to the "main" internet servers, or your hosts file and/or DNS records are expired... kinda hard to tell without a bit more specific wording.

nice setup bro......if its not for gaming then you dont need to much bullshit! Just a nice reliable PC. Reliable is hard to come by when talking PC.......and i am not a MAC guy at all!
dont feel bad either about everyone tellin you what you SHOULD have done.....i spent $6,000 on a badass Alienware tower (i build my own but i got the AW as a treat for myself a few years ago) and i got shit that wasnt even on the market yet - people STILL tellin me what i shoulda done.
I've got a $1700 Alienware paperweight you can put next to it :/

reading 101 pages of this thread? fuck that

how about an electromagnetic motor (in place of the standard magnet structure) coupled with a voice coil? I asked Dan Wiggins that one once iirc and tossed a few emails back and forth but didnt get very far on it.
-
man, gotta bump this again?
-
holy shit that got assraped....
cast iron is a bit harder to weld than steel.
Pull the soft parts, put rags in the motor to keep weld/flux/spatter from getting into it, weld the shit out of it, do some grinding, then put new soft parts in..
-
If you do it too long, yes. If its in short bursts, not really.
What matters is heat build up in the mosfets mostly. If you let them heat up too much from a long period of low voltage or successive bursts with no rest period or not enough, then you will burn them up.

could do subs backwards. Got a friend with a single rockford 12 in a sealed box facing backwards behind a bench seat (tight fit, we put a couple strips of 1" mdf on the face of the box to hold it off the back wall of the cab) with an old ass half burned out orion amp and you'd think it was a ported 15....
Dirty - I'd like to see what your box would do if you turned it on end so the subs were forward and the port up.

Ditch the velociraptor. You get similar performance for less from the new 64mb cache lineup from WD. Save yourself some money.
Great case... I have used it for a few builds for my buddies. Lot's of room considering it's size... great cooling.
The onboard gpu will be fine... this chipset allows you to run hybrid crossfire. So down the road you can drop in a 5770 or so if you need more performance.
I also recommend going with the 1055T.. if you can wait get the 960T. Updated design process... great overclockers and very efficient.
I would also consider ditching the ram for some G.Skill. Better overall imo.
Also if your budget allows I would switch over to a corsair unit.
Do you already have a disk drive or are you reusing?
Adata and G.Skill are both rebranders. They buy from other manufacturers (usually Micron or Samsung) and put their name on it.

if its steel then weld it with the soft parts still in place. Use tape or a damp cloth to protect the parts and cool the weld asap.. if you dont burn the surround you can call it good.
if its aluminum then you'll need a recone after welding the basket.
Couple of guys here that have recones if you click that thing with the letters that make it look similar to "search".

I didnt wear a seatbelt... oh, and my tint (a layer of mud) is way over the limit..

I've had the 42" 1080p plasma for about 1 year and a half and it's doing fine and looking great still! They are better than most mainstream TV's (Except Samsung the king!) when i bought it a 30,000:1 contrast ratio was good! But now it's time to upgrade again soon 3,000,000:1 FTMFW!
You do realize those both probably have nearly identical actual contrast ratio's right? Its like RMS vs PMPO rated on the same amp...

nah, need to know the make/model of the ram to tell if it has Micron DDR2 chips..

EXO's got a video with a split-coil sub in it.. best subs ever video or something. I cant track down what make it is

Alternators will burn whether you go to 8v or not, its all about how much work you make them to over a period of time.
