  2. I was removing some unused programs on my computer like messenger stuff. Then I went to my windows media player to play some tunez and no sound, and I keep getting "code 28?" I got on download.com, downloaded "Realtek AC'97" and right before it finishes the computer restarts. Any input on this situation would be greatly appreciated I can't live without tunez.

  3. I ordered a 4x90w AQ amp and come to find out i got an email today from Carrie and AQ saying they are out of them and they wont have anymore for a few months.

    just my damn luck :clover:

anyways whats another good 4ch amp that will work good for my highs. I have 2 4x6's, 2 5 1/4's, 2 6/9's, and 2 tweeters?

DAT, Sundown, RF, that's about all i can think of right now

  4. just a helpful hint if you can find any of this stuff its called Kroil, it works a thousand times better than PB Blaster, it goes into spaces small as a millionth of an inch and a small propane torch on it and spray some KROIL on it and it should turn out as easy as a pie

kinda off top/ i haven't used any of the penetrating stuff but the engine cleaner i've used and it cleaned a bunch of gunk out more than the average cleaner did

  5. jump 1 coil to another with another set of wires for loudness but more strain on the amp, or put connect the pos to one coil and the neg to the other coil and put a jump lead on the remaining coil posts, for longer life span and less pull on the amplifier, but in no case should u only connect one voice coil of the subwoofer to the leads getting source from the amplifier.

    could you "paint" a picture?

  6. Actually, it doesn't look like it has the pressed paper-cone like the SSX series does. It looks more like the SSi or TSX series cone. Need to see it out of the box to know exactly which it is, and Treo woofers should have that printed on them. if it is an SSX in good condition, 399 is an absolute steal and being a pawn shop I bet you could take it for 300 cash, most pawn shops can't move car audio stuff for nothin.

the ssi series has more of taller surround compared to that one, i think the tsx isn't available in the 18'

i think it's one of the ssx series or the cxs
