  1. the second small bulb is for high beam, do you have an h4 bulb?its not the best idea to flash true xenon bulbs, so the ebay kits make them with the halogen bulb built in now to use for high beams and flashing. with cars that have xenons stock for high and low beam use a "shutter" in front of the bulb which acts as a shield. thats how it gets the sharp cut off line you see on fx35's and acura tls. when you hit the high beams on bixenon cars the shutter drops instead of turning the bulb on and off for flashing your high beams. hope this helps
  2. hey ramk, im using a hifonics bxi1608d.before the 2 12" re se'x s i had 2 15" planet audio big bangs. im going to check out redbarons car now if i can find it. thanks for the info
  3. thank you dubie that would be great. hows his car sound?im a little disappointed with the re sex's in a sealed box. i know its a shitty box so im hoping once they are in another box they will sound alot better.
  4. thanks, i checked that link out last night but i didnt really see anything that was ported through the rear deck or a bandpass box besides the one through the armrest. i guess theres not a whole lot of people porting bandpass boxes through the rear deck
  5. ive got an 04 altima . with the seats up you can barely hear the bass, seats down its alot louder.after talking to a couple people in another forum i decided to try a 4th order bandpass ported through the rear deck with 2 4" aeroports. after cutting the holes and fitting the aeros in the deck,i havent been able to get a design for the box from anyone.i thought about just building a 4.5 cubed ported box with the subs facing back and ported into the cabin but everyone was saying thats a bad idea and it'll sound like crap. right now i have 2 12" re sex subs in a 2.5 sealed box that i was using until the box i planned on building is done, i tried facing the subs back, towards the seat, and up towards the rear deck and its definatly the loudest facing back.does anyone have an idea of what i can do to have it get loud with the seats up? if anyone's willing to make a design for a bandpass box for me ill pay for it with paypal.
