wonder if you unsolder those 2 8g runs and resolder new ones if that'll fix your issue, some people acually upgrade those wires to 1/0 if they have the room and see like a 15-20% output increase in clampped numbers, i had a stetsom 7k2d that was "modded" like this, did like 9.8k clampped after the guy did it
1/0 is pushing it cramped for space in there might be able to get away with 4 gauge
-
Alright thanks. Not mine, but i'll check out those connections.
yeah mine would have strong output one min then lower output the next then back to strong output which seems to be the case with that one...
-
what up ken mine did that from time to time found out it was a loose rca input internally had db-r fix it when i had it overhauled.might be worth looking at.

If your wanting midbass then you can rule out pro audio, you will want to get a nice midgrade set of comps at least to get you volume and midbass and then make sure you treat the doors with deadener and some acoustic damper behind the speaker for best results.
This is not entirely true depends on which pro audio speaker you get.like for instance I run the beyma pro 6wnd which imo has excellent mid bass and is louder then 99% most comp sets and takes relatively low power to do so and they sound great doing not like typical pa stuff which is probably the reason they're alitte pricy .yes there alitte peaky in th 4khz range but thats easily fixed with a quality eq...

i just happen to be switching subs out today cause one of my mayhem's needs a recone and am putting my old eclipse titaniums back in...with my experience the mayhem basket fits alittle snugger then the Ti basket hope this helps

my die hard platinum pm-1s same as the odyssey/stinger 2150 charges at 15.6v cold and 15-14.9 hot and have been for about a year and a half with no issues....
-
I happen to own the 6in version of your first beyma choice and yes they are very loud !
-
heres one on a scale

Good thing about sears is they wont question it if you somehow kill your battery when its under warranty. Just bring it back back throw it on the table and walk out with a new one.
yeah a friend of mine put one of my pm-1s on a regular battery charger when i had tore apart my truck and it was charging for about 2hours at 16+ volts before i realized it and was hissing and spitting acid out took it to sears and they didnt even ask just gave me a new one.they even load tested the bad one it held 11.3 volts with a 300amp load on it for 30seconds

The diehard platinum agm batts IIRC are really just rebranded Odyssey. The diehard gold agm are rebranded Dekas, Along with Super Start AGM, NGT Xtreme, Duralast platinum AGM.
you are correct die hard platinum batts are re branded odyssey/stinger/hawkers called Enersys myself to confirm.i run 2 pm-1s in my trailblazer and a pm-4 in my denali and have been for about 3years. you cant go wrong good price and 3year no questions asked warranty hope this helps

The inside of that amp is a trip.
its actually 2 separate boards only connected by the wires you see... never seen that before
-
nothing like bass for dessert !!
-
What did you clamp out of it
alittle over 120ish per channel and close to 500ish on the sub channel that was car off never clamped car on...
-
old skool goodness ..owned this amp since new rated at 75x4 and 250x1 @ 4ohms @12volts WAY underrated
-
The Q series were great amps. I have the 4.80 and love it amazing SQ for the price
yeah they were couldn't find another amp for the price with similar power or sq....clamped about 20 more watts per channel @ 4ohms then rated all channels driven. very nice amp for the price and can be ran active
-
How's the SQ?
actually really good! compared it with some higher end amps ( don't want to hurt any feelings so wont say any names) on a pair of audison voce separates with about 4 hours of listening time and couldn't tell the difference at all between them

150x4 rms @4ohm 220x4 rms @ 2OHM
