  1. I went through my box archive aka (notebook) and couldin't find it. But i think it's in my toolbox. I'll look again after work. It was a standard l-shape port with 1" wood dowel braceing. 1 in the port and a cross behind the subs. It was a solid box. I wish I woulda kept it. I'll be glad to share the design with you as soon as I find it.

  2. Let me rephrase the question, I have the chance to buy either a powerbass 3xl 15 or an audioque sdc 2.5 15". They will be driven by an american bass vfl 100.1. just a daily beater set up till i start my new build. what would you go with and why?

  3. I have for sale my Z15. Im getting out of SPL. Tired of not having a trunk and dealing with all of the local BS. But thats a different story. Haha.

The sub is in almost brand new condition. Its been installed for about 11 months and has only been used for rear fill for about the last 4 so it only saw 1000 daily for 7 months. The coils and everything look perfect. Hell it even still smells new, which surprised me. Rated at 1000 RMS and has served me well.

Price is $200 obo. Ill work out shipping with buyer. Also interested in trades for an EQ or an iDQ (or any other legit SQ sub).

    Thanks for looking!

    What's the V.C. configuration?

  4. That's what I thought but some guys claim the aeros are more efficient than slots so I wouldn't need more...? Am I going to get more gain doing say 5cubes at 40hrtz straped as oposed to 7cubes with more port area off of one amp?

What I am wanting to do is at least 148 to 149 on music.

So far I've done 146 flat in the 7cube box with two aeros? What do I need to do to reach this?

I'd definatly go with 16 sq. in. of port per cubic foot. Aero ports do sound better than slots. (IMO) But I always use slot ports for price and area. Those trucks are hard to get loud, Just like Expeditions. It's all with set up and tuneing though. I've done a 148.5 in my old bronco II with 4 powerbass PS-10's and an MD3D. Just try different combos man.Start with port area.

  5. I will have to agree with footlongsam. It's all in the set-up. I had 3 Soundstream SPL15's The OLD Stamped Steel basket version) in my Bronco II Off a Rubicon 1002 In the cargo area doing a 149.3 outlaw. that was with stock electrical and 4 4 gauge powering everything. I'd spend the money on a box rebuild.

  6. Go for it. I've had my Classic series 6 1/2" components for a good year now off My E.D. Nine.2 and they sound clean and very detailed. Just the Classic series themselves have been reviewed as Tonalley Perfect. For the money you can't go Wrong. they would be a Strong recomendation.
