  1. Very nice and Impressive!! Good luck on your contract man, Look forward to more vids from you.
  2. Sounds like clipping to me. No need to kill an innocent sub. See if you can find someone with an o-scope or a dd-1. You dont have the gain or bass boost cranked up do you? Ive seen it come from cranking up the bass on the deck also. As a rule of thumb I always put the bass on the deck at zero and turn all the bass boost off wheter it be on the deck or the amps.
  3. The HD series Are bad ass amps as are most of American Bass Amps. Thanks for posting gut pics. Too bad so many people bad mouth them just because they haven't heard of them or never used them. Alot of people around here were skeptical about them till they ended up with second and third place trophies at shows. LOL
  4. They are built by DB Drive I believe. I can get em through one of my distributers just never have. I have heard one an some kicker L7s and it sounded fairly clean but was lacking in the delivery. Probably better off getting something else. Just my $0.02
  5. Just watched the vid, Looks Clean as hell and sounds even cleaner. Kick ass work like always Steve.
  6. Nice set up man. Love seeing some more American Bass Vids. Ive been a dealer for 4 years and love the brand. Bang for the buck is Phenominal.
  7. Sorry for the small font, Don't know what happened.

  9. Something as beefy as the Hd You really shoulda bolted that in there, Or mount it firing up. Thats alot of weight for little screws to handle. Nice pic anyway.
  10. Those xfls will be happy around 2.25 cu ft each. tune low if your doing a ground pounder set up, you will be VERY happy.
  11. There are a million things Id change about all of my installls Ive ever done. But if you don't make the mistakes you will never learn and improve on them.
  12. Gotcha on the Names in the post. I don't know any of them personally, so I can't really say what they deserve. I know Ive followed steves vid and SMD for quite a while and I would put He and this forum on top over the rest.
  13. LMAO!! I can't believe Just how many Chest slappers hate on Steve on youtube. You must have WAYYY too much time on your hands if your willing to make a video Hateing on Anyone. Especially someone whos deserves the respect that Steve does. I don't know of too many people that have taken the time to post good informative videos, that are entertaining. And Have built there selves and their image from the ground up. Just got a kick out of it and thought Id share. There fixed my paragraph.
  14. Anyone remember the boss audio S-10 I think is had over 60 10"s in it too. Extended with daytons on it.
  15. I think my first amp was an alpine 3522 for my highs and a lanzar optidrive 100 on my fosgate series 1 12"s, Then traded all for a phoenic gold M100, shoulda kept all that gear! rying to find pics.
  16. I bought that same one for my Budget Bumpin Project. It pounds the hell out of my Powerbass XL 15"s and does it fairly clean. Not power hungry either. I'd buy another one. If I could figure out how to resize my pics I'd post a build log.
  17. Big 3 alone stopped all my dimming issues in my focus, But I have seen bad amp grounds in the rear cause it also. Make sure you have tight and clean connections everywhere.
  18. American bass xfl 10"s will take that kind of power and sound good doing it.
  19. Cheaper than dirt is great place with good prices and sportsmans guide aslo has great deal on 9millys. just google them and you can get free catalogs.
  20. Nice build man. Can wait to see some vids of that thing, Just a suggestion on the router. My wife bought ma a black and decker for x-mas acouple years ago and it works pretty flawless. I'd definatly buy another.
  21. Best results I got in my focus were subs up port to the drivers side. For loud anyway.
  22. Can't wait to see the new box. it's always a blast seeing what you build! you send a BTL to iowa for me. My area needs some good bump
