  1. Well, I went back out this morning and my Charger was off, and the car was DEAD! So I checked the batt. with my DMM and it read 13.56 Volts. So I dug out my ariginal Battery which is tiny and tested it it read 11.49 Volts I figured what the hell maybe It smoked a cell in my Big battery. I installed my original and the car fires right up. Still has the battery light on like it's not charging. :aggressive: Don'tknow WTF? did I smoke the voltage regulator in my Alt? or just dont have a good enough connection. While it's running it doesn't drop voltage like it was but it doesn't read like it's charging.

  2. Hi all I was atempting to do the big three today on my 03 Focus ZX4 Got the ground to body. and ground to engine with no problems. I got lazy by this time and tried to do the Alt. to battery while it was still hooked up to power. Needless to say It grounded out. I heard a POP down in the starter/ALtenator area. It stated back up fine ater that but wasn't charging If I moved the wires On the alt it would start charging then Stop. I shut it off and reattached the factory wire from the alt and now nothing. Ive got full power to everything but It just Clicks. Could it be the Starter died from this. Never had this problem before. Please help!!

  3. My Focus Was doing a 146.2db at 56 hz test tone and 144.9db on music. that was the 6 ps-10 powerbass's and a US AMPS MD3D. 6 cu ft. all 6 up port to the drivers side. Should have been louder but I built the box too big and blocked the soundwave from getting ino the cabin. But it's true, If you don't compete on a regular basis I wouldn't worry about Numbers. Anybody can say they hit a nice number but until they can Prove it to you first hand don't sweat it.

  4. Anybody have one of these bad boys laying around. Mine is the dual 4 ohm. stamped steel Basket. with the flat Dust cap. I'd like to have a pair again. These are the subs I did my 149.3DB with in my Bronco II. ( 3 of them) off a rubicon 1002

    Would like to keep it as cheap as possible.

    I'm just gonna go ahead and finish putting the system in and save up for a new alternator. Hopefully I can buy one before this system kills my stock one.

    Definatly don't skimp on Voltage, It takes power to make power. I had an MD3D on my old set-up at 1/2 ohm and it rocked for about 15 seconds, then I watched my stock Alt. start to smoke. It's worth every penny.
