  1. I jus bought a DC LVL 4 a friend and i are building a box for it monday. box will be 3 cubes, 1.9 cubes after displacement tuned to 32 hz with 26 inches of port area. powered with 1000 watts from an mbquart dsc 1000.1 this set up will also be firing rearward for audible loudness in a 4 door cavalier. How Loud you think?
  2. that's nice what program is it? Were planning the box to fit wide where's as with the picture shown the woofer would be onthe right side of the box and the exit port would be where the port begins firing beside it.
  3. Thats a good looking set up. Hopefully mine with jus one 12 can give me some great output.
  4. Just 1000 for now. Using an old rockford amp
  5. A friend and I are building a ported box for my dc lvl 4 12. The box will be facing the rear of the trunch for the loading effect. Does it matter where the sub is relative to the port. What I'm asking is would it make a difference if the port being on one side of the box and the sub being either centered or the opposite? I prefer it being centered just for looks but if it would rob me of quality then I would go opposite.
  6. :hairtrick: what should i tune the box to and how big should it be? im going to sql and i want to grab some deep lows. Suggestions please.
