Alright if I drop the port to 3 instead of 3.5 it drops the tuning to to 29 hz. If I drop the length from 34.75 to 30 it goes up to 33hz and 15.25 sq inches per cube

my z v3 laughs at my 2200. The v4 should be very happy on 3500+.he stated 1750 right??? it is up to you what you want to try and throw at it.
-
Thank you! Some needs to fix that haha!
-
I hope so the box I have now was given to me I have no idea what the specs are on it but I know it's tuned fairly low
-
It's 31.96 lol I rounded up. Ill punch those number in when I get home and see what it looks like. I was wanting to do a 4th order but I copped out and decided to just do regular slot port
-
So how do gauge daily loud? Ear o meter?
-
I never factor double baffle into my designs. I always just slap a baffle on after the main part of the box is done. In this case I'm planning on double baffle, top front and sides with a couple dowels for bracing. Forget about the 3500 I can always build a new box. Would this design be ok on my 2200 or should try to shrink it a little?

Here is what i have so far its going in my dakota sub up port up, port on the driver side. For power right now i have an aq2200 but im ugrading to some kind of 3500w amp just havent decided which. I think this box should be golden for this sub

that's strange because they did! He eventually upgraded to the z12sThey will be fine I got a buddy that ran 2 on a saz3500 they held up fine
I seriously doubt that they were actually getting that kind of power.

Very possible easy mod make sure you use the best quality ofc wire you can.
-
Yea man you could get one 15 like that going pretty good
-
I cant tell you. You have to figure it out there isnt really an equation its all dependant on your box
-
You should be plenty fine after rise with 3 subs

been hearing a lot of good things about the audiopipe APSM 1500.. $121.. seems like a good idea! its been clamped and does rated and a lil more
Not on here you haven't... Dirty power.
Quite a few people here have had them burn out.
killed one sent it back for warranty and it burned up upon turn on. apsm ftl

easy peasy. Got a jigsaw? Just make a ring to mount it on the door so it has the right depth. Get creative with it man
-
I got a buddy that hit 148 with a pair if zv2 12s on an saz3500 so its not too far off you should get up there, but then again it all depends on the install amd your guna nees more batts. He had 225 amp hours worth of batt and a 270 alt

Speakers on a bike=douche. Sorry but thats all i got
-
or just a bunch of 12v power supplys made for that exact application. I seriously doubt it best buy would use a battery on a charger. OP you bestbet for clean power would be a plate amp or 2they probably have a car battery hooked up to a trickle charger. or they bypass the amps alltogether. i've never tried messing with the gains on them before... i might try that tomorrow.
-
Which would you rather have forum activity or the guys at mechman cranking out a kickass alt in a day or 2... not to mention email communication is great and someone always picks up the phone
-
No i blew one sent it back for repair i installed it and the amp went up in smoke when i turned it on
Box check please!~ z v3 15
