i blew my pico fuse aswell and went with the kenwood excelon x395. I love this hu, no issues at all i cant imagine the excelons would have issues. I say go for kenwood

Can you get a hold another mids amp? Try swapping it out to see if its the amp itself.

they probably cant take much power and lack alot of midbass. Im going to assume the 3.5s are up front and the 6x9s are all in the back. Does that seem balanced at all? the front will get over powered like nothing, so replace them with 6s so atleast they will have a chance of keeping up

your 2 super tweeters will still scream wired to 4 ohm, super tweeters are made to over power bass so they are stupid efficient most times.

if 450 is your price range i think you should REALLY try out singer alternators.
he will email you a quote within 1-2 days and is very reasonable about the price for a unit.
and then take 4 weeks to get your alt...

I wish I had the luxury of finding shows within an hour of me, in the 3 years I've competed there has been 2, one last year and one this year so far.
Here in NY we have TNESPL which covers NY and the new England area. However we don't host really any shows in your area, however we do have a few competitors from your area.
Www.teamnortheastspl.com/new , the new site is still under construction but keep an eye out for it. I do know there were 4-5 shows specifically in your area towards the end of last years season because a few of the guys down there needed points for finals.
Very few shows listed at this point, more will be added over time
or the last show we were at 20 min from your house haha

you will be fine using that or goop, its not like there is going to be a ton of pressure on the dustcap like a sub so it wont blow out

My dd1 came in great use today when i thought my channel 2 was dead on my mids and highs amps. Turn the radio on and put the probe on the positive terminal of channel 2 didnt get a signal. Next i pulled the rca for channel 2 and plugged into the the dd1 and sure enough i got a signal. I just thought i would share my experience and how much i love this tool, i need me a cc1 now!

I wasnt happy with my dd1. AT FIRST! I was being a total idiot thinking it didnt work right and put noise into my system. I proved myself wrong and realized i was being a moron. Basically if you can find a reason to hate the dd1 your a fucking moron! Smd for life

No everytime i get rid of the noise and then reset my gains with the dd1 i get the noise. Before i reset the gains woth the dd1 there was no noise

i have already bought a new deck. outout of the signal of what? I found that my antenna wasnt connected so i hooked it back up everything was working i set the gains low for testing and it worked fine with no noise set the gains with dd1 and noise is still there. wasnt abl;e to get ahold of the noise filters.

Tried some more shit today, i ran rca from the amp to 3.5 directly to my ipod no noise. So the noise must be getting from somewhere in the front of the car, near the headunit. I have a buddy that is getting my two rca level ground loop isolators later today

you should still get a high output alt and second battery, you want to be able to keep your voltage up at all times because 2500W pulls a decent amount of current.

you ever think of looking an hour or two away? Im sure theres got to be some shop around you within an hour or two drive. Would be worth the drive and be cheaper than shipping door panels.
