A sealed box isn't going to give you much below 35-40hz anyway. Build a ported box tuned to 30-33hz you will get the lows you want and it will still punch the higher notes some bit.! I had one of these in 2.7suft tuned to 32hz off 1.5Kw and it was a pretty musical box, maybe a little small but musical. I sold it and 2 years larter its still goind strong

Not much of an update really, I recently moved house and I decided to move the Rolla over there, and began the strip down of the current wall so I can measure up and rebuild again
Seeing I recently got a new Phone said I would test out the picture quality and also give a run through of my equipment Rolla getting emptied:

@Tacomabanga: Well I want the best of both worlds lol, I also have 0gauge wiring, and 2 Optima Blue top batteries, more so for daily but I want to be competitive in my next comp....
@Kl0wn:Well, the car is a toyota corolla, hatchback, small enough boot, but should fit a 3cu ft box no problem....

Hey dudes & dudets,
I have a Kicker L7 in a ported box tuned to 50hz for SPL, at present being powered by a Kicker kx550.2 Amp, now in a comp I got 139.6db
I'm after re-designing my box, basically a bigger size, but I'm wondering wat Amp i should use??
