well seeing as tho you guys seemed to like my charade with the 12x 10"s clamshell wall, i figured i'd show you my daily... i've posted a vid up here before of it with the old earthquake set up, but things have changed! running 4x cadence beastmaster 15"s in 2 seperate 8cf boxes, running off a single USaudio bonecrusher (basically a fusion 4000d) @ .5ohm... so around the 6kw mark on a good day... so far it regularly does 148.7db SS3-4 and 148.3db street max DBdrag legal, and in testing i've seen mid 149s with all doors/roof braced, thats all at 42hz... but it's only loses .7db at 30hz... i've even burped it at 5hz and scored 128db on termlab SS3-4 legal... it peaks at 42hz but LOVES the lows anyways, here's a few vids a bit of flex and a video from bobo333 sound isn't great and it was pretty average weather that day, should get some better vids come summer... anyways hope you guys like!

thanks buddy! at the moment, it's running 147.3db @ 30hz and 147.8db @ 50hz, DBdrag official, still needs ALOT more work and i didn't want to push it, the baffles aren't even sealed to the box yet... so theres ALOT more left in it yet, also should be added that was at 2ohm per amp, so about 400rms per sub... once everything is sorted we'll drop it down to .5ohm and see how it goes... the main goal behind the build was to have a VERY musical, almost "sq" build that happily plays into the mid 150s, so thats my goal!

man thats not flex... my TOW CAR flexes more than this... lol this still moves quite a bit tho that was all car off... just off the batts, which i'm currently running fullriver spl70s, only 2 atm, but got a "few" more on their way... and which part in specific? gotta have something to try and draw peoples attention to the video! lol i think i might have to chuck one up... lol anyone want a vid of my tow wagon? 4x 15"s on 6kw? a "little" bit of flex...

thought i'd post up the vid from the 1st bit of noise coming from my latest project, 12x cadence 10"s (txw10s2) running off 3 daytona 2500rms monos, 4x 6x9"s per door in full fiberglass door skins if you guys like it i'll chuck a build log up...? was finished being assembled for the 1st time AT it's 1st DBdrags event, went on to run 147.3 @ 30hz and 147.8 @ 50hz with everything running VERY conservatively... the wall still needs to be sealed up properly and ALOT of bracing added, plans are for mid 150s on music from 25hz to 60hz... 100% musical build... as well as needed the whole car as a package to be finished, as it's not even close, again, this was in testing!! and a link incase you cant see the player... anyways, let me know if you like it or not...

as the title says, 2x mach5 IXL18s in 20cf ported at 30hz it's nothing too amazing... but it's getting there... made 145.6 @ 30hz and 141 @ 20hz

ok for a start, the red top optima's are for cranking and starting power, they have VERY poor ah ratings for car audio use... why you're saying there's a need for multiple red top optima's mystifies me... the yellow or blue top optima's are what you want if you're going down the route of using optima batteries, also the "big 3" may not be necessary, nut you're damn well going to want to upgrade you engine bay grounds... to a minimum of at least the same gauge as your power cable, i generally run double the size of my power just to be on the safe side, so if you have a single run of 1/0ga for your power connections, i'd run 2x 1/0ga grounds... tho you could get away with a single 1/0ga, but over kill is good! and why you'd need a new starter? that's just beyond comprehension... as for fusing, alt to battery is not 100% necessary, but sometimes things go wrong, and it's good to be on the safe side!
