DB Drive A7 1500.1 OR DC 1.2 K

When you ride with me you are in no danger of talking over my music..... We'll talk when we get there

Yes that powerbass will run .5 ohm daily however those amps are incredibly current hungry
-
I worked in the business for years and what wicks said is true. If something is manufacturer refurbished I wouldn't be scared at all
-
They were pretty underrated still at that point
-
That amp is some where around a 2000 model year. That amp will push prob about 200 watts and can run 2 ohm bridged. I sold them back then and they were built really well and one of the first years Rockford went into Best Buy and Crutchfield. You did good with your purchase.
-
I would also add a second batt as soon as possible for best voltage situation
-
I'm gonna take you back like a punch 45 and an alpine 2 shaft cassette deck
-
I'M 37 but remember its not the age but the mileage.

Checking your wiring and voltage and maybe phasing might be your easiest bet. Also can you move around your box to find other ways to 'load' the box?
-
I would be looking for an amp that did a minumum of 2500 watts to have a real difference in sound over the Hifonics Amp. You may want to build a new box as well. I have seen many manufacturers give box specs which might be decent but not the best for their woofers because they want to err on the side of safety to avoid warranty claims.

If you buy those used its no problem and if you look a little bit you can find them online for that.
Thats a little over his budget but I found that with a simple ebay search. I bought a 2000.1 from there with no issues whatsoever
-
I thought they were dvc 4 ohm woofers instead of single coil however all of my amp recommendations are still relavent

American Bass vfl 100.1 or the DB Drive a71100.1 both will run .5 ohm all day
-
Oh shit you need .5 ohm power or an amp that does power at 2 ohms. Thats a little trickier but I'll get on that for you in a little bit
-
Here are a couple of amps that I think will do the job for you:
People are gonna hate on Hifonics but even if they are overrated you still will be puttin a ton of power to those woofers
Next
Cadence Amps are great as well and this one even comes with an amp kit thats decent
Lastly,
Probabbly my least favorite of the three but Ibuilt a system for a buddy with 2 SA-12S and it did the trick

picked up this amp the other day from someone that was in need of some money, got it for a really good deal. I hooked it up to make sure all of the channels were working and they all check out good. i was just wanting to know if this amp really put up the numbers they have listed for it.
RMS Power (4 ohms) 75 watts x 4 chan. + 300 watts x 1 chan.
RMS Power (2 ohms) 115 watts x 4 chan. + 600 watts x 1 chan.
RMS Power (1 ohm) Stable + 1100 watts x 1 chan.
Bridged RMS Power 230 watts x 2 chan.
Peak Power Output 3120 watts approx
Yes sir this amp is actually 2 amps in one the old memphis st3004 and st1000d.
