have you tried using the chorus of the song instead of the intro?
Yea, didn't like it to much.
-
i think it needs more movement, looking at a still picture for 9 seconds is not that entertaining, otherwise, video number one is better
I'm going to work on that. Thanks.
I think your pretty close to my friend. Unless I'm confused as to where Picayune is.
where does your friend live?
Biloxi.
Oh yah, that's really close, one of my best friends lives in Biloxi!
You might have heard his system then. 4 15"s on 16,000rms

im looking for a fourth order bandpass box design for 4 18s. Specifically the fi btl n3, tuned to 29 or 30 hz. im planning to put it into a new yukon xl denali. i was wondering if anyone could help me build one. and if anyone has heard about the n3s yet im really curious on how they play.
Wow, everyone needs to go a little easier on this fella, he doesn't claim to be an expert, and he clearly asks for help right off the bat.
Damn, remind me not to ask any stupid questions around here!
It gets old people coming saying they are doing 4 18"s on a million watts. Then post up stupid shit. When they clearly have no clue about anything.
-
You don't know a damn thing about what your talkin about. That is all.
"Someone make me a bandpass box for 4 burp subs and tune it mega stupid low"
is all i read
Same here. But I fixed it for you.
-
4th orders tune differently then normal ported boxes.
And aren't the N3's the SPL only BTL?
-
I have heard plenty of stock speakaz blow off a HU. If its just a daily beater and you dont care to spend a ton, pick up some cheap replacements.
He's saying the factory radio blew his NEW speakers. Probably to much bass.
Alot of stock speakers are 8ohm, while aftermarket is 4ohm. So more power going to newer speaker with more bass.

1 RF Power 1000C Mosfet
My friend has two of these, and an all chrome one. Soooooo sexy.
-
Mine was a Memphis Reference PR-1000, the one with the silver plate on top.
Ran it a .5ohm!! Loved that thing.

score sealed up or open? also is there is good difference in loudness with the top up rather than down
Score is sealed. It's quieter top down obviously. but not as much as I thought. haha

CRX's don't play low, sell it now.
CRX's resonant frequency is around 60Hz, their magic is that fact and the shape of the rear hatch.

1 15" T3 audio t.1000, 10 cubic feet, tuned to 17 hz.
Will play everything, will be really damn loud, but if you just want to slap a sub in and call it quits, dont upgrade subs unless you're willing to put in sound deadener and make your system sound half decent.
oh, and the T3 T.1000 isn't that expensive either.
/thread
10 cube box? wow
OP, try upgrading to some bigger 12"s on more power. That might be enough, if not, do 4 12"s.

Its in the subwoofer enclosure section..
Should be under my name.
Prob about a month back or so.
Sorry ...on iPad... Search sucks for me.
Found it man, thanks.
Going to read it all. lol
-
You can find lots of tests in my enclosure database.
Sealed and opened results
Going to look for it now.
-
3 words would describe it better.
Test, test, test.
i agree as well, but doesnt hurt getting a bit of feedback form people with similar experience or with experience in the thing you are wanting to try out, to further ensure its done properly the first time
This.
-
Make it easily adjustable then. Where there's a will there's a way.
I'm going to do my best to do that.
I just helped a friend do 8 12"s in a 4th and it's amazingly loud with the windows down. Windows up it looses all ass behind it.
-
I would test, test, and test.
But when I build the 8 15"s 4th order, I really don't wanna take it all apart to rebuild to test one thing. lol

Freq and speed of sound and length to the mic from the box
Should have been a little more detailed. I am going for louder music sealed as well, does the 1/4 wave theory work for music as well?
-
One word..
1/4 wave
Hmmm.
Google time.
-
I want to learn a little about how you guys get your vehicles so loud sealed.
If you want to help a little but don't want everyone knowing some stuff, PM.
Thanks for any help.

There isn't a real need to play that low, you can't hear it. :/
