i'll take the subs out of the box and get a better look of them and see if i can see any problems and yes i will try to get a vid up of this horrible noise.

thanks for the help but, just tried both those suggestions and neither worked the surrounds are still secure in place and putting my hand over the port doesn't make a difference, the horrible sound still exists...

yea i tried that as well, didn't help, same sound...could this be a port problem? or is something wrong with the sub?

i guess if it was rubbing against something the only thing would be the seat, and like i said, i put grills over the subs to keep it off the seat and it didn't make a difference.

yea its a single cab, the seat is right up against the box and the subs i put some grills over the subs but it didn't help, same farting sound.

Hey guys, my two 8's in a ported box on a ZX 300.1 Kicker Amp have been making this horrible noise it almost sounds like a fart, is the best way i can describe it. The box is right behind my seat in my 1990 Chevy. Ideas on how this problem was caused and how i can resolve it and is it serious? -Jacob
