dimensions are l 29 w 39 H 16.5 i need to be able to fit 4 10's in those dimensions in a front firing setup (front subs n port)
I was hoping to stagger the 4 subs with some pvc ports or L porting it depending on room . i am not familiar with the tuning with these ports
-
How wide it the port?
-
IMO with what little experience with fiberglass i have i would say you would need several more layers than two
-
it is my door lock control module it is mounted in the corner of my back seat

cant do a trunk box now have wiring that cannot be relocated so going wall build i feel dumb cause i should check things out before posting
-
Major issue guys i cannot remove my back of my rear seats to fit a box in due to a power lock module so i am gonna research a semi wall ...basically mounting a box to the wall instead of using the whole back as a box

awww i gotta pay for it ....... i will read up and figure it out myself
-
ok all i need now is the actual design
-
Ok i need 2 things now can anyone point me in the direction of a amp that will push 1200 watts rms at the Ohm spec for those Aq subs? also can someone make me a box design ?
according to my calculations i could make a 15 cube net box would that be too large?
-
ok so ditch the capacitor.... do carpeted enclosures look pretty good or is glassing the way to go?
big three upgrade is replacing these cables
1. Alt output to battery positive.
2. Battery negative to chassis.
3. Chassis to engine block.

yeah i want to remove the back seat entirely i wanted to use a board on the bottom part of the seat to mount my amp and compasitor(sp?) to . maybe use some contact cement and a novilty fabric and dresss it up a little
-
i want a setup like this except with 2x Audioque Street Duty SDC2.5 Series 15's , i would like to put tweaters on the face of it too
-
OK GUYS... i just got an idea and wonder how much more difficult it would be to do compared to a box ...how bout a wall?
-
ported box's arnt hard to build their just as easy to build as a sealed box would be but you would be MUCH louder with a ported box....
ALSO since ur gonna be running 2K daily you have to upgrade ur electrical or ur gonna fuck up ur shit
I have heard that a ported box can be really screwed up easily by a off measurement

i am having my altenator rebuilt for higher output and possibly a second battery. that is not included in my budget . My budget is solely for sub(s) amp(s) and box my price is $1,000 total

i dont know the cars resonating frequency. what is the max sub(s) size i could run in my given dimensions? just curious
I appreciate all the good info yes this will be a daily and i want to be heard. the reason i wanted to go sealed is because of ease of design as this will be my first build
-
not trying to double post but i have a idea of what kind of setup i want to run but no exact brands
i want a single 15 with 2000 watts rms in a sealed box could anyone help me design a box for it please

First off i would like to introduce myself. My names Jake. I recently acquired a grandma car . A 1995 mercury sable. Well i want to change that by adding a system to it .
I want a custom box for it but dont know what power i can go with or sub size i want to base it off the box to be honest
My specs are W=54" D=24" H=36" and that is a back seat setup. my trunk specs are 3'x3' 2' High am open to any designs but i am a beginner so let me know what i can run
