35x21x28 is 6.5 cubes tuned to 34.066 tuned to high for this sub? there will be about 2k rms to it for now
-
im lookin at the RE box calculator and am wondering what specs i should look at for this beast.. what you guys think???? so far i have 36x22x26 roughly 6 cubes tuned to 34? doesnt seem right though
-
ya i think that 2610 is my best bet, money wise that is, of course if i had the money i would go with sundown but not as of yet
-
had a 2000 4dr 4wd, box was something along the lines of 38*16*25. Had the amp rack between the box and the rear seat. Amps were layin flat. I think theres about 35-36" from rear seat to the tailgate.
really?! thats exactly the type of truck i lookin at i think i might play it safe with 36 between wheel wells thanks guys
-
really? okay i guess i really dont care about going above the window line since my windows will be limo'd out and its not like it needs to be super big, its only 1 18
-
they dont do rated but theres plenty power there for a xl18
myself i wouldnt run a xl on 3k daily thats what a level 5 is for but whatever
ya i was gonna throw about 1500 to it for the break in stage then step it up to 2k-2500k after a month or two, we will see, how about aany other amps similar to that brutus that would be cheaper?
-
or an idea that would be even cheaper. just get one 12 or one 15? say like one 12" l7? or even 3500 series dd or level 3 dc
-
really i thought those brutus's put out rated? but then again i also here people putting 3k on a single xl 18 all day
-
cvrs like less room then l5's too but i guess you could fit anything in a tahoe
-
im sure he aint looking for nothin too expensive so i say stick with kicker like klown said either l5's or cvrs both solid subs for cheap
-
is a Hifonics BXi 2610D gonna be too much to power a single xl 18?
-
sounds like it was a pretty awkward situation at the dell store lol
-
wow looks like burbans are remarkably bigger.. okay well i think im going with something around 36" wide should be pretty universal for whatever i end up getting
-
in my 92 blazer its 47.5"H x 37 W x 36 L but in between the rear wells its around 35 or 36"s wide
alright cool and that is the dimensions on your box for 2 15's?
-
or if you got an 18 with about 2-3k rms what are your box dimensions
-
i am in the process of purchasing a blazer/suburban/jimmy/bravada and am wondering if there are some people on here that can give me a couple quick measurments.
I want to start building my box now for a 18" dc xl and i know that most suvs are a slightly similar size. so if you guys out there with a similar suv could tell me how many inches in between each wheel well and between the hatch and the back seats, then that would be great.
I will take all the answers and get an average size and then go from there
OR anyone with a similar sub setup in a similar suv could give me some box ideas and/or dimensions that would be so greatly appreciated

You dont win back to back super bowls and have a playoff team 5 years in a row because of 1 blown call in 1 game.
true brady has the best offensive line in the game, giving him valuable time to make the perfect throw to some of the best hands in the entire league.. they should jus trade maroney cuz they dont need him
-
haha yea you must feel good as a vikes fan they are lookin real strong this year. only thing is i was a former favre fan turned into a hater. I respect his love for the game and everything and all that he has accomplished but i feel like he shoulda stuck with retirement i feel like he is a drama queen for saying no Im def done then going to the jets then saying ok for real this time IM DONE without a doubt then he comes back again. But hey he is definatley making an impact for your team. Mr peterson is actually gettin a little break and some of the weight is lifted off him because they have a good passing game now. not to mention their defense has looked better and better the past few years
ya for sure i finally feel as if we have a team that CAN go all the way this year but we will see, this next game is the ultimate test playin the steelers.. but i think our explosive offense will win it.. we will see

Noone took anything away from brees when he tore up the Lions like that. I dont really wanna get into a pissing contest with you all i really have to say it Tom brady has proven himself time and time again and to miss a full season and come back as strong as he is is just proving it even more. he is a great qb. So i guess to answer your question I feel great about tom brady just like saints fans should feel about their star drew brees and colts fans should feel about manning. He did throw 6 td passes against a struggling team this year but also remember, (if you recall the game) snow and slush and 30 degree weather. I challenge any quarterback and a recieving corps to put up numbers like that in those types of conditions.
ya for sure the tennesee titans had the best record in the league last year they should NEVER EVER let any team put up 59 points, no matter what team it is. they just gave up

ya i agree NFL has turned into a pussy sport ITS THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE QB's get hurt.. people get hit.. its what football is.. i hate what it has become but all i can see as a vikings fan 6-0 BABY! now for the real test this week............
-
the 2 roughing the passer calls against the ravens?? did you watch that game?
thats the refs call .... not bradys
-
lol the "crybaby" qb had 6 touchdown passes in one game so i bet your feeling pretty good about him i mean.. its tom brady.
-
MINNESOTA VIKINGS BABY.
