  1. 1. the way your wording this is confusing the hell outa me. 2 that amp will be way too much power for 2 L7s. 15in L7s are 2000 watts max a piece. 2 of them is 4000 watts and its a 5500 watt amp. either get a 4000 watt amp or get 3 L7s

Not to step on any toes here, but that amp will not do 5500watts. I've messed with a lot of Power acoustic equipment. There speakers are a nice product for dirt cheap price, however there amps are pretty much junk. On great electrical that amp may do 2500 or so until it gets warm and becomes very inefficient. I think it will push those kickers just fine.

  2. Use the positive speaker wires to the positive terminal of master amp, negative speaker wires to positive terminals of slave amp.

    Jump negative terminals together

Thank you sir, that makes more sense than anything ive read so far. Simple...

what ohm is that going to be per amp depending on series or parallel?

  3. I searched this some but I'm still a little confused. This may sound like a newb question but to be honest I've not strapped amps before. Here is what i want to do:

I have 3 AQ HDC312A's they are D1 coils. I would like to strap 2 db drive 2000.1d's to them. They are strappable. My question is how to wire this correctly. And what are my final ohm load options? If someone can explain this to me it would be great. Thank you in advance!!

  4. I've ordered products from them, and suicide door, FBI rides, Air ride tech. and honestly i can say if you pay a little more you will get a little better product just like with anything else. However airbagit (Aim industries) is not junk IMO. Ive had their air cylinders on my car for going on 5 years now, same ones. still kickin. Their compressors aren't the best, viair and zeneth seem to corner the market there. But their valves are very nice, work well and are rebuild able as most are. The only down side is they don't have mounting brackets on them like parker, smc etc so you have to get a little more creative with mounting them. All in all its a good product for the money. You can always spend a little more and get a little more..

I forgot to mention, in my experience, shy away from their steel tanks, the alum ones they sell are great. But i would search elsewhere when looking for a steel air tank..

  5. I can understand both ways of thinking. I have ran several cheaper components and been very happy with them. Right now my daily has one set of RE XXX 6.5" components on 400watts. And they are very impressive. They keep up pretty well. I also have a poly glass set of focal components in my hatch, and i would honestly say the RE's keep up with them. The focals seem to be able to play a little higher freq. but the RE have the low end of "midbass" The focals are around $700 online, where as the RE's are $230-300 online. It really pays off to spend a little more. You could do like one set of RE or something similar and a coax set of 4s? Just my .2

  6. Are you using a 2nd battery? If you have a second or more battery i was saying ground the extra batteries to the engine itself, or frame if you cant do it to the engine. As far as just the amp, frame would probably be the best. Your electrical system grounds thru the engine to the drive train. So the engine itself is your best source for ground. However always do the big three. And one good ground is better than a bunch of bad ones.
