I dont have any kind of adapter. I already have the peripheral box its just not hooked up completely. I dont want my shit to be on a toggle switch to watch dvds and have my full access lol. I think its just the ipod. tried it with another alpine hu i have, same story. so...thinking maybe i just need to get this adapter or use an older ipod

Its my girlfriends ipod i was using. I believe it to be a 4th gen nano. I am not for sure thou, looks like one from what i can tell. That would explain it. i only have the normal cord that goes from back of the head unit to the ipod. no adapters or anything. would explain it thou...

ok, so as listed above i have an alpine IVA-W200 double din head unit. I do not have peripheral box hooked up right now. So i am not able to watch dvds or access the bass engine, or screen functions on the head unit. My question is, will my head unit not charge my ipod? I thought all alpine head units would charge the ipod. It plays just fine, until the ipod dies...so anyone know if not having all the bypass for the ebrake hooked up would cause this?

That sounds pretty good to me. I've seen a few of the HDC's in the lanes but not gotten to hear many of them or talk to their owners. Sounds like they are pretty solid woofer for the money. What level of DC would you compare them to?

Trying to get some opinions on these woofers. Cant seem to find many complaints on them. What does the SMD group think? Are they comparable to AA, DC, FI, Sundown? Looking at the copper coil models. Do you think they can handle a low tuned box at 1k RMS daily??

Well i would have put this is the craigslist fail section, but its not on craigslist. this is a listing from Mautofied. Says in the description that his audio system was professorially installed. I'm not a pro, but i think a cardboard box around the battery, and ratchet straps are a little am-mature?

I have used AP amps in the past, still have some actually. I agree, they might not be able to take a beating like some of the high end amps, but honestly if you dont drop the impedance too low, and use them how they were meant to be used they are great amps, especially for the cost. My db drive 2k.1 is at .33 ohms, and its a beast, but its meant to do that, AP amps arent meant to be abused. Bottom line, if you are going to have a clean electrical, and want to save some cash, go AP....

I thought itunes music was only compatible with Ipods and Iphones? i had itunes on my old computer and i couldn't convert it to burn cds.

Where is a good place to download music from? I've used frost wire, and lime wire before that, but i would like something of a better quality, even if i have to pay for it. anyone have any ideas?

well im alittle curious are racing seats at least alittle bit comfy? and what is the difference between them and OEM seats in a car. besides look and shape.
Most racing seats are stiffer, provide you with less movement in the seat, and you can use a lot safer belts with them. as far as different brands, every car i own has some racing seats in it, and really there isnt much difference between brands that ive noticed, until you get into a one piece, full out racing seat, then pay the extra money for a good brand. if your going for looks and a little less "body roll" then its not going to make much difference...
