  1. like the title says can a kicker l5 15" handle 1ohm if the amp is 1ohm stable? the amp is a T1500-1bd Rockford Fosgate 1500 WATT Class D witch is 1500 rms x1 @ 1ohm and i wanna run 2 15" kicker l5s on it witch should run 750rms each witch prefect if the subs can handle 1ohm im only asking b/c i have been told that as long as the amp is 1ohm stable the sub didnt matter but im not sure on that also the subs are gonna be dual 2ohm
  2. i dont hit right now but the blue cavy up there on cans it hit the crossmember but thats low enough as i have a bodykit anyways but i ordered a bodykit that was the same same as a stock z24 kit so i could still get so low to hit the crossmember just to find out my struts would not allow me to even get that low lol so once i get cans up front should be laying kit all around should be sweet
  3. car is on cans that was the question i called airbagit.com he told me if i put cans on the front they would just break in a month but his didnt i was just wondering if it was really that bad because his wasnt but like i said he didnt keep the car long
  4. anyone know what db number 2 15" l7s put up and 2 fi q15s since im thinking about trying some FI's
  5. in a way yea but i have been saving up for awhile to get a system and im just 19 and im married and dont have alot of money at this point so i want to get somethign i know can be loud to the point i want it to be and around my range
  6. i think im going to go with the L7s because i know what they can do.. but any idea on what kinda amp to run? i want a class D amp that will run 1000RMS to each sub and somewhere around $300 if it can be found lol also about how big should the port be on a wall in a cavalier lol
  7. same here i found them on ebay is only reason i found them that cheap there new to so its a plus lol
  8. here i dug up some old pictures of the cavalier on cylinders that was my friends this is the only one i know of for sure that did cylinders on a cavalier in the front and they worked fine but it may just been luck...
  9. thanks and nah i think mine are firestone bags im not really sure i got them used there made for a cavalier tho just a bolt on kit, and my 18" rims are so wide that if i cut the bar more then 1" to drop the lower bag mounts it will rub my tires b/c i was just gonna do that. i know a way to do it but its a major fab work and i cant really do it myself but i got a friend who can and is willing but it will take alot of cutting and moving kinda like trying to layout on 20s on a s10 we was gonna cut the stock sturt holder i have no clue what its clued but where the strut bolts up to move it in some reinforce it and weld it back but doing this i gotta move alot of stuff and most likey take my A/C out and this being my daily i would like to keep a/c if i can lol and its got power windows so a/c is nice when a motor goes out.. my friend had a cavalier on cylinder all around it had no problem at all but he only had it maybe a month or 2 and he didnt build it so it may had more stuff to support it i dont know and i know someone on the net running cylinders all around he said his is fine but his is not a daily so i dont wanna trust his option on the matter.
  10. im leaning on the kickers b/c i know what they can do i have seen them set up nice and they was crazy loud... but no i might 1000 for the whole system not just for subs and where im from 478 for 2 15" l7s is cheap and that is on ebay brand new at a shop there twice that price but if anyone can find me 2 new ones cheaper ill be greatly happy lol but i just dont wanna buy subs i have never herd before and sound comps are done around here in kentucky its winter lol to cold
  11. well i can get 2 kickers for $478 shipped so what other brands you all thinking of? im kinda new to systems well i have had systems before but nothing really big like this and where im from kickers are IN lol and i heard that RE audio was really good but noone here has any so idk and there 15s are really high like double the kickers so just toss around some ideas im not completely set on any subs just yet also my budget is around $1000
  12. Hi my z24 cavalier is on strut bags in front and cylinders in rear now the rear is layed out prefect and the front is not layed right at all to me its low but just not on the ground and i was thinking about putting cylinders on the front of my cavalier can anyone say they have done this and what there exp was with this or just any help? i have seen this done myself and seen no problems with it but when i called airbagit.com they told me it could be done but in a few months i would just need new ones as the seals would always brake doing this here you can see my car is layed out good in the back on cylinders and what i mean in the front
  13. hi i just would like to ask someone that knows what there talking about and not just trying to make money off me.... what would be louder in my 2door cavalier im planing on taking the backseats out and making my box there either 2 Kicker L7 15" subwoofers or 1 RE Audio MX 18" subwoofer both will be walled, RMS going to them as i will listen to these as i cruise and go to SPL comps i want the one that the most DB "LOUDEST" thanks ahead of time please if you dont mind give me your option also my trunk in the cavy is off limits as it is bagged with a 12gallon air tank back there lol
