  1. I just heard that without an isolator the safest thing is to run the same size. I got a price from someone in Ontario for a 1200 and 3100, and the price for 3 1200s is roughly the same before shipping and what not (lucky Americans lol), but price isn't so much the concern as is the performance and weight. I will definitely email Nate and see what he suggests. Thanks for the help so far, any more is always welcome
  2. Not sure where I could have asked this, then I remembered there is an XS Power section here full of guys willing to help however they can. I'll cut to the chase, I'm looking to run 4k rms (wishful thinking, maybe 3500?) off of 3 D1200's. Is that a good idea? I heard that new batteries are great, but the best way to keep the charge as even as possible between them all is to run the same size as well, so rather than the 1200 and the biggest I could fit in the back, I figure 3 D1200s, and they are from what I can tell the biggest battery I can fit under the hood of my 98 Caravan and will suit the job.
  3. or maybe konaki I have no clue, but I have the AB's and they're purdy
  4. hope nobody gets mad, but they lot VERY similar to the American Bass XFL, if not then the AB HD's. good looking paintjob though
  5. has anyone ever run the AB's? or seen them perform?
  6. well that is what I'm leaning towards, but the most I've heard or seen from them is from youtube videos. then again, that is the best and only way to make decisions on subwoofers.
  7. can anyone else weigh in and maybe tell me more about the XFLs?
  8. I tried but Canadian coins are no good for American products lol. I will say based on price the AB's would be my choice, but based on simlar procucts I'd go with the AQ's. Thats why I'm hoping to get some feedback on the XFLs. although now I'm starting to think they're the same sub with different logos thanks to your VERY similar stuff...
  9. hey guys. pretty new to posting here, but I've been stalking the site for a while, so I figured I'd ask my question here since where I am people don't run this particular equipment too much. I drive a 98 grand caravan (ballin I know) and I'm looking to make some changes to my subwoofers. Right now I've got an 18'' TFOne, basically an AQ HDC but with 500 watts more rms power handling, running at 4 ohms off an sd3000.1. now the dream is 4 12''s, or 2 15''s if I have to, but all while keeping the third row seats, for now at least. I've got a couple subs in mind, and I'm just trying to narrow it down. thats why I came here. I got a good price on some American Bass XFLs, but everyone here in Canada really only uses AB amps, except me of course. now I know the amps are disgusting, but I was just wondering, could you guys give some input or reviews or feedback on the XFLs? its sort of a toss up between the AB XFL and the AQ HDC. four of each will let me take advantage of the amp, but like I said I was just looking for some feedback on the XFLs. Thanks guys
